How to Create Easy Folio Cover | Simple and Easy DIY Tutorial
Hello everyone, it’s Nelda! In this short tutorial, I'll show you how to create the base cover for a festive 4th of July folio using my "Festive 4th of July" digital kit, available on Etsy. This easy and fun project is perfect for adding a patriotic touch to your happy mail, junk journals, or for storing tags and ephemera.

Materials Needed:
2 to 3 pieces of 60 lb cardstock (or cereal/packaging boxes)
Scoreboard and bone folder
Scissors

How to create the cover:
1. Score the first piece of cardstock at 5 ¼ inches, then flip and score the other side at 5 ¼ inches to create a ½ inch binding.
2. Score the second piece of cardstock at 5 inches and 5 ¼ inches, then cut it to 6 inches in size.
3.Fold along the scored lines and attach it to one side of the base to create a flip.
4.Repeat for the other side to have two flips that open and close.
