@@marx4538 laughably easy? X games were never really hard. It's as challenging as x1. The only time they felt hard was due to crazy damage (x3) or cheapness (x6 and some of x5)
Zero feels a lot more reactive and powerful throughout the game until the Sigma fights; he was well-established as a Hunter far superior to X and he's absurdly easy to tear through the entire game with up until this point. But X beating Sigma is a thousand times easier than Zero beating Sigma. Especially with the story in later games, that's rather fitting...
Oh so you can force the head Sigma to use his wind attack if you go to the right side as he's about to appear? I've tried to no-damage him before but could never force him to always use his wind attack.
It's not. I think he used his positioning to bait Sigma into using certain attacks for example. When the "Old Man" Sigma appears (the face in the bottom left) there are two attacks he can do. Blowing you into the spiked wall, or sucking you in, along with debris, then spitting the debris back at you. He strategically dashed towards the spiked wall to bait the wind attack to avoid damage. That being said, this boss isn't super hard when you know what you're doing, and Phase 1 and 2 can be done with no damage if you are patient. But not making any mistakes, especially in the third Phase is definitely harder.
Xmark3000 Man it's been a long time. I played Melee and Brawl an unhealthy amount of my life lol and going to tourneys. Smash 4 just didn't have that same effect on me. Kind of miss the ol smash days though.
@@Akabalthy This was my favorite MMX game for almost a decade before I actually learned how to use all of Zero's powers besides the fire uppercut and the lightning lance. I legit believed that those were Zero's only attack powers for YEARS.

i wish zero got into ultimate as a fighter :/ anyway this was a magnificent display. how do you spam zero’s first two attacks in his 3-hit combo? ive been playing this game since i was 6 and ive never seen that before lol
True that. You can actually see the smoke/dust coming out of zero's feet while he does that. It's new to me too, playing MMX series since mid 90's. Cheers!
You can FORCE sigma to use the wind attack?? I wish I knew that strategy a few days ago because good LORD that rock throwing attack is hell to deal with lmao
To be honest, I think so but this was a really lucky run and he didn’t do the rock throw. In my head I felt like if I backed up then dashed toward him, he does the wind more often but I could never 100% force it either.
This was the most balanced zero, considering that his saber does more damage in X5, he got upgraded versions of these weapons, and that black zero is available, I’d argue X5 Zero is a lot stronger
Zero usually : HU HA HUU
Zero during speedruns : HUHAHUHAHAHUHUHUHAHAHU
I always hated how Zero was ridivulously OP in this game, though I do love how hilarious the voice acting is.
HU HA HU for life.
If this game came out nowadays it would have been updated / patched / nerfed :(
@@ICE-ing No way; X and Zero actually feeling as absurdly powerful as the X narrative portrays them is what makes X4 amazing.

My friend got me into it when I was an adult. Sadly I only had X1-3 growing up :( thanks for the good vibes

Thanks brother!

I wish I knew about these patterns when I first beat the game as zero. I usually main X and it’s was easier using X. for me at least.

@@jadevenator5659 I agree. Looking at other runs, Zero is far more superior than X with the wide array of moves that Zero can pull off.
Yeah I feel for a first run, I wouldn’t want to use zero knowing how annoying sigma always is until I learn his patterns.
Se acertar o frame na primeira forma do Sigma e atingi-lo com a espada de fogo ele morre num só golpe. Difícil mas satisfatório.

Zero was overpowered in X4. He got nerfed at X5 onwards.
nah, in x6, turn on shield sheldon's hability and zero is unbeatable. Also with the invincibility glitch.
in x5, the rolling slash and giga attack moves are very high damaging and spammable, making zero easy to use and broken
