I know we’re all different, but roughly how much did you spend on prop firms before you finally achieved your first payout? I’ve been funded 7x’s times w/ apex & blew all my PAs. My mental is just not there & been feeling a little discouraged lately.
If I’m being honest and I’m not ashamed to say but at least $10,000. I started prop firm trading in December 2021. Just now getting the ball rolling with my first payout etc. I see the bigger picture though. I know I can make back my investment 10x if I follow through with my plan and so can you 🫡
And that’s not including the Personal accounts I’ve had through the years either 😂. I consider it all tuition to learn the lifelong skill just like in college. A winner is a loser who never gave up. Remember that 💯
I appreciate your honesty. Yeah I just did the math, I only started trading futures October 2023 & I’ve spent 3,000 on apex evals. In the beginning tho, I was just buying & blowing accounts with no real strategy. It wasn’t until the middle of last month (April 2024) where I found a strategy that works for me & that’s when I started taking prop trading seriously. I am passing accounts no problem but once I get the PA my mental struggles. One red day & then I go on tilt & blow everything up 😫 just gonna keep going.
@@MrsGreennn I know EXACTLY how you feel. The way I deal with it is just having an abundance mindset. Meaning I know my strategy works and I know I can rinse and repeat. Don’t get excited you can do it, get excited you can do it again!!

you have to make on a 100k $3000 before you can withdraw at a 80/20 split. If you withdraw before $3000 you get 50% and your PRO account is terminated

Congrats! How did you go about the trailing drawdown took profits at tp1 or let your trade ride to full tp??
Biggest thing is just being consistent with your risk. I risked $800-1200 and aimed for a 1:2RR. Slow and steady base hits win the game.💪🏽
@@ApTakeProfit what about the unrealized trailing drawdown though? I had two funded accounts with them and that unrealized profit fucked me over. Could’ve won the trades but since I was in profit then came back on a couple trades it took liquidated my accounts . Do you let trades run even if it was in profit and came back to entry or drawdown?
I just need a get passed the buffer zone and I’ll be straight because I’m use to trade with EOD drawdown
What account size did you have and how much were you up?
@@ApTakeProfit 150k both . I was 1500 on one account on a trade missed my tip by 8 points and when back to sl and that killed my accounts cause I was already in drawdown. Psychology has to do a lot with my trading I know for an fact cause I feel like I’ve been having my trading strategy down
