Real fans will never forget the greatness of Tony Ferguson, El Cucuy was one of the most entertaining and skilled fighters in the ufc in his prime and will be forever loved and appreciated by everyone who loves the sport of mma, CSO⚔mx,usa
A great summary of El Cucuy's career. Dude took risks when he didn't need to and those risks paid off until age caught up with him. It seems to have been downhill ever since the Gaethje fight unfortunately. We all caught a glimpse of Tony of old in the 1st round of the Chandler fight but we all know what happened in round 2. If he doesn't retire he should only be given easy fights from here on out
Gaethje beat the breaks off him. Khabib retired not long after, he must've quietly gone nuts over that. He lost time and again trying to keep hopes of that fight alive and after being KO'ed by Chandler he had to have realized that the path there was closed. He's now just older and the hunger he once had is gone.
Oh I believe the hunger is still there. And that's probably one of the most frustrating things for him. He's still super hungry, but due to age, injuries, and the wars he's been in the hunger no longer matches up with the skill level. It sucks man 😔
I defacto view him as former champ; the belt essentially got vacated by Conor, and Tony was the only fighter to win a title fight at lightweight in all of 2017, and when Conor came back, he was beltless. I view it as Tony and Kevin fighting for Conor's vacant belt, and then Tony having to drop it due to injury, and Khabib and Al fighting for the vacant belt. Whatever the semantics, he was champ in 2017 while Conor was off getting battered around a ring. Interim, undisputed; we all saw what happened.
Hold on Im crying brother
My two favourite things combined.
• Mr incredible memes

Indeed
This was informative, hilarious, and sad all at the same time. Well done.

tony has the most depressing career ever
maybe honestly
mark kurr was also pretty depressing
Depressing but not many can say they've won twelve in a row in the ufc!
12 fight win streak is something MOST pro fighters never get and a TUF win too.
I would say his career is anything BUT depressing.
I feel really sad for tony :(
What a time it was to be a MMA fan
If you made one of these for every mma fighter it would be super easy for new fans to get up to date
This was one part amazing and one part sad but overall Tony had a fantastic career and still may get one final big fight!
Fantastic video don’t listen to the other comments hahaha this is the funniest and most accurate career breakdown Iv seen

"quietly" lol i guess you've never seen tony's twitter account
@@micalzoncillo249 That's just him entertaining his fans tbh. There's a lot more to it when he's alone or with those close to him I bet.
