MPC Underwater VFX Breakdown

As the lead visual effects Studio for Underwater, MPC Film created the full journey on a dry-for-wet shoot- from the submerged base, the whole pipe connecting to the Kepler Station, down to the ocean floor, through miles of underwater desert, cold dark landscapes and to the final act at the main Roebuck station. MPC built all external assets outside of the underwater station.

From a maker of practical movie-armour to the makers of digital movie-armour, I saw this film yesterday and all I can say is BRAVO!!!! Truly BEAUTIFUL work. I didn't imagine the visor glass was done in post until now... Too many Wow's to list. Awesome 🏆🇬🇧

I really wish there would be more underwater themed movies. The abyss is one scary place we know very little about . This one was great and the vfx where great to.

Too murky and blurry. That may be what its like down there, but I'd rather see it without cataracts.
