I don’t know if you guys saw this or not but in the video where you guys put the hose reels on the diesel tanks someone said that you should make a covering for the reels because it will extend the life of the hoses and if you are seeing this it wasn’t my idea I just think it is a good idea
I had mentioned itz weather it was mine or not but if they get left out in the weather they will rust in the turning/lock section and they turn into a PITA to work on..
I’m sure this comment won’t get read but I spent 5 years in the Marine corps working on the CH-53E. I did a lot of hydraulic work so pumps, accumulators, motors and lines ( braided and solid.) as I see you routing your lines from the demo tanks through the frame of the tractor I see a lot of rub points that could rub through and cause a leak. I recommend putting some type of buffer between the metal frame and the hose. We always use a rubber tape called chafe tape to stop lines from rubbing.
Plastic armour, UHMW Polyethylene wear strip even larger diameter hose cut to short lengths and fixed with wire ties. A rub will make short work of very expensive 4 or 6 wire hoses. (SAE 100R12 or 100R16) People don't understand , A single large volume hydraulic hose can be over $1,000.00 to buy. I have seen expensive hoses destroyed in a day.
@@bobdevreeze4741 I crewed on a sports car race team for many years. Our goal was to eliminate any possible rub points. Good wire ties are cheap...and they worked! Never had a fluid or electrical line fail or be compromised. And the car(s) got inspected after every session, anyway!
I have been amazed at the knowledge you guys have. You definitely know how to work on your machinery!! Also I give you credit for how you take care of the equipment. Always clean & shiny. Totally awesome!!! The three of you & Dougo work good together. I enjoy your videos so much
The Big Swede is doing great on narrating this video, he should do more. And Brodie is a great addition to the team, appears to be very knowledgeable and a hard worker.
That was great tanks on harvesters are put away plantersare almost ready we almost there thank you for sharing and your time Chet Dougo Eric Broodie thank you.
Chet you are correct that there should be a oring in behind the split rim on the outside and if you ever have to take the split rim apart and put it back together. always take a heavy chain through the center of the rim and stand back when you air it up! Those rims have killed many people over the years. I personally watched a fellow coworker have one blow apart in a tire cage and it spread the cage 3” but it kept everyone safe!
Spring hasn’t sprung in Indiana yet. Lots have lined up at the start line. None of the special neighbors have gone around the field yet when school buses go by to fire up the whole neighborhood
Forget a hammer going through the combine. . . . A cousin tried a whole toolkit. He realized that it fell off the swather and he even went looking for it with his quad. However, he only found it after it went through the combine. It could have been really damaging, but it was not all that expensive to fix, relatively speaking. The toolkit was toast, . . . finished. 😮 (Canola swaths are rather "fluffy".)
My, since deceased, great-uncle did worse. He put himself through! This was back in the late '70s early '80s if my memory serves me correctly. One of those old combines with no cab. He apparently had a habit of standing up and leaning over to see the crop go into the header, lost his balance and fell over. He sustained severe injuries but thankfully fully recovered and lived out his natural life.
HI Chet - I note that you are considering removing the 3PL quick hitch - I think it maybe the wrong move. You have fitted a complex piece of equipment to the Planter drawbar to duplicate a 3PL Hitch variable drawbar height adjustment - Please think it through and maybe discard the extension on the Planter drawbar
You guys may want to buy a motorized broom to sweep that apron off. looks like a lot of rock and gravel gets carried up on it. Something else for Dougo to use to clean....
Agua up in Oklahoma on a farm until the age is six and my dad got out of farming I just want y’all to know how lucky you are to be able to do what y’all do I miss it every day
I love the glasses n the wooden level. I have the lines too dougo.they suck.did split rings for years.just have to be safe when you do them.there is a safe way n a wrong way.
I know a farmer that fire up everything on his combines and once he shut everything down, he go around and touch every bearings. If they are hot, he replace them.
Keep a close eye on Ray, noticed a time or 2 he darted close to tire. Had a uncle who lost 2 great dogs because of both not paying attention and getting legs broke. Just a concerned fan 👍🇺🇸
You could try applying talc to your tracks and mid-rollers before heading out on the road. And maybe you already do, but i know at our dealership we always encourage applying talc on the tracks. Acts a lubricant.
The new glasses look good I tried the progressive ones but driving and working with a computer screen just didn't get it went back to by focals new better than to do what my wife said live and learn
You guys have been my favorite youtube channel for so long and im not even close to a farmer, im just some college student from Ohio studying to be a filmmaker😂 if you guys need a summer intern, id love to come out and do the videography for your channel! Spring planting is such a prime time for content from what ive seen on your channel! And All for free of course, i need and internship to graduate! (just food maybe and a place to sleep!)
If you’re gonna strap those to the frame make sure to wrap that tubing in a thick rubber they also make a bracket that should go onto those frames that has a rubber liner that you can tighten them up and leave them there
Great job Swede narrating.....watch Ray Ray, she darts in and around moving stuff. Hate to see her get hurt. Toby would be really sad his shop buddy got hurt. 😢 ( concerned fan ).
Make sure that old rock box has still got the swivel in the hitch because they like to lay over easy and if there is no swivel it will damage the tractor bad.
Hi Doug, I am Sorry you are Having a Hard Time Adjusting to your Bi-Focal Glasses! I have wore mine for 10 years and I Enjoy them Very Much!! Have a Great Day!
Hey Chet, Dougo, and everyone else. Chet you should put in a liner in your new dump cart. Andy on Farming, Fixing, and Fabricating puts in their silage boxes they make. It protects the metal, making the boxes they make last longer. From what the people putting them in said, that a lot of cement companies are putting them on their equipment, because it extends the life of their equipment. It might be worth looking into it. God Bless, can't wait for spring planting to start. They've been in the fields for a couple of weeks where I live already. Won't be long now.
I've applied for Larsons Farms a few times but never got a response back.. 😕All I've ever wanted to do is work here. I just want to make a diffrence in my life to help others.
You earned those lines Dougo😄😄😄😄
I love the pride in our country you guys display you are true class act people thank you for the videos.
Man that is an AWSOME dump bed........
God bless the Larson farm family.
Suggestion. On hoses that have pinch or rub spot put pipe insulation on them zip tie it on stops the rubbing on hose. I really enjoy the videos
Great job narrating Big Swede

UV is death to Rubber.
Very good idea!!!
Will help with snow/ice as well
I had mentioned itz weather it was mine or not but if they get left out in the weather they will rust in the turning/lock section and they turn into a PITA to work on..
I pointed out that's how I would have done it...but that's me!
lines in your glasses r the best looks good dugo.
Spring is commun fast!

Very great new video again for the farm and shop work as a team work 👍

Something about an S790 on tracks is just 👌
New glasses look great Dougo
Chet there should be two pin holes that the draw bar can slide forward and rearwards on so you don't have to take the quick hitch off
Going to miss you on the planter going all out especially at night. Take care of yourself Chet
you guys are just awesome, just professional, the photo shot segments, the dialogs 😁💯👍
Time is Money Eric 🤟🏻😘
Can't wait for the green and yellow on the dump box
Thank you for sharing.
Make some cones for the end of the demco tank mounts, pull them off after insertion.
You won't be disappointed with that trailer! Used too fix rock trucks .
You should grease the hitch pin area. Grease while planting too, during refills too.
I still have one of those old wooden levels. Great history!
You do a fantastic job editing Chet! Pulling the combines out of the shop along with the music was super professional 👌!
With my illness long-term I watch a lot of UA-cam. Yes this is number one. Love this kid. And the other one too.
I have a long term illness too. I poop a lot. Carry a port a shitter on the back of my truck
@@tigerbatman7881 sorry nothing compared to that . Just a neuromuscular disorder progressive nature 20 years.Third of my life just about.

Dougo we need a bigger shed so we can spread both planters out
Every shop needs a good shop dog..🐕🐶👍 hope Toby is doing okay
Very good video Chet
Dougo hasn't sold those drills yet... Now is a good time to advertise them.. 20 minutes flys by, watching videos. All that green looks sharp.
We sure enjoyed your video Chet!!! Sure missed Toby today!!! Hope he is doing ok!!! Really sorry to hear about him!!!
What happened to Toby ???
Demco a great tank company 17 miles away from me. If you ever need tanks of any kind contact them Chet.
you should put the plastic liner in your dump cart👍👍👍👍👍👍🌽🌽🌽🌽🌽
Spring hasn’t sprung in Indiana yet. Lots have lined up at the start line.
None of the special neighbors have gone around the field yet when school buses go by to fire up the whole neighborhood
That RT/planter setup is going to be SWEET in the field!
Getting ready for spring. You guys do good work. Enjoyed the video. 👍👍👍❤️
I have 5 or 6 of those OLD levels in my Grandpa's homemade toolbox
You should have got the yellow yankum rope form Matt's off road.
Also video looks amazing your videography has come so far all of you
Would love to have a live feed with Doug, Chet, Erik, and Brody.

good job guys
Hey Dougo I tried the so called invisible lines.did not like them at all.you guy's are a hoot to watch. Planting time will be here before long.
Good stuff men😄😄😄👍👍👍👍
I hated bifocals when hooking up 3 point equipment, did it twice and went back to get new lenses without bifocal.
7:55 - my Dad had one of those levels that came from my Grandpa who was a carpenter back in the day.
I love the glasses n the wooden level. I have the lines too dougo.they suck.did split rings for years.just have to be safe when you do them.there is a safe way n a wrong way.
I tried the progressive lenses and hated them. I had to have the lenses replaced with the lines and I love them.
You should take some rubber hose and wrap it around the yellow pipe every where you zip tie it to the frame. Just to add some life to the pipe.
Great video. Missed Toby and hope his leg is doing better.
Have you tried putting talc powder on the tracks while roading? It’s kinda a pain to do while traveling but it’s made a difference for use.
I know a farmer that fire up everything on his combines and once he shut everything down, he go around and touch every bearings. If they are hot, he replace them.
Like the zip ties. Nice glasses Dougo! Don't know why, but I would like them levels.

Hi all you guys, I rarely make a comment, but your channel is the one I go to first, if possible. You all work great together, keep up the good work!!
I love old levels
Love the old wood level.
Dougo, I agree with you on the cons of progressive lens, fixing to get rid of mine!!
Great video thanks
If you’re gonna strap those to the frame make sure to wrap that tubing in a thick rubber they also make a bracket that should go onto those frames that has a rubber liner that you can tighten them up and leave them there
yes, not bushed.
pretty sure they know what they are doing...

Great video 👍👍👍👍
I have heard split bead is easier and less dangerous then tractor tires
Never first 🤔
Always here 🙃
👍
Put some Tireject in the dump wagon tires
Did you see the replacement Camso polyurethane bogie wheels that ZK Master Tech recommended as replacements for Millennial Farmer
Make sure that old rock box has still got the swivel in the hitch because they like to lay over easy and if there is no swivel it will damage the tractor bad.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TEAM ‼️
i have some of my Grandpa's tools and would love to add to my collection. I will treat them with respect for sure
You better or Doug’s will beat you with a 2x4
Dougo maybe the lines are on the levels, better check the new glasses 😂😂Excting times around the conner with spring seeding .
awesome just `finishing a larson farms marathon for my sunday afternoon and this one shows up thanks guys
Awesome!!! 👍

we somrthing new too watch!
The way the big swede say hello sounds alot like the swedish hallå.
I agree with Dougo. Progressives are a pain because you are always hunting for the right spot on the lens. It is a narrow band. Bi focal are better
Watching you guys' work, makes me want to come out of retirement, not really ill just keep watching! always enjoy your video's!

use the old level as an ornament on your tree
Chet check the inside of the tire at about 12 o clock. I think I saw a bubble as you were talking about it. May have been angles.
I would love those 2 levels
Tire on split rim has a tube in it.
It's a flexible spirit level Dougo
