    I have not had to work for wages, my life has been an endless stream of care, kindness and love, from myself in other dimensions. While this world delt me the harshest of challenges, my higher selves gently touched my shoulder to let me know that I was not alone and that if I kept the balance and followed my mission, that I would reap the joys of enlightenment. I have enjoyed the peace of knowing my purpose since I was 11, I will be 70 in November and I have seen my future at 92. Beware young seekers for the road towards enlightenment is littered with the sharp stones of temptation and distraction. For me, it is the peace and contentment found when I am alone that is most rewarding. I am loving all that is and all that is not. Staying in my heart space, so fear cannot influence my decisions has been most beneficial. I hope this will help you.

      I entered this life helpless to chaos. When I was 17, full of resentment and anger, I struck out on my own, driven by the aforementioned, I attained self-discipline through rigidity and the butter limits of order. I accomplished many improbable objectives such as working and financing my way through an undergraduate degree, obtaining a financially and well-respected career in Enterprise Tech Sales. This was merely an objective w/o a higher purpose, and the nature of my then motivation emanated from a darker force that was ignorant of the true and everlasting source of power found in love w/o expectation, relentless pursuit of knowledge, especially philosophy and psychology, and the nature of nature. With the ultimate goal of obtaining true wisdom. This led to seeking spirituality to alleviate my Christian religion, which frustratingly never resonated with me. Western philosophy, though mildly profound and overly witty, was helpful. Though my blessing was realized through Eastern philosophies. Specifically, Taoism and Zen Buddhism. Once I began my spiritual journey, it wasn't long before I reached the point of no return. My ego, persona, ignorance, delusion, paradigm, and concept of self began to empty of me. I began anew with beginner's mind, thus had the capacity to be filled with my own brand of monotheistic, nondogmatic spiritual practice. The 4 noble truths and the 8fold path were and are my salvation that has led me to the divine. Paradoxically, this came at great loss. In fact, I lost my way and literally lost everything worldly and shockingly ended with a year in prison for possession of LSD. I am 51 now, just recently satisfied the terms of parole, and am rebooting my mind to incorporate priceless spiritual wisdom into obtaining a new livelihood and self-discipline that exists along the middle path. Though I've acquired more than sufficient monetary compensation before it all came to an end, I have always foolishly lived beyond my means. Thus, having no personal savings and no resources other than some key individuals I call friends, one there throughout my hellish confinement, many new that came at just the right time after my release. They are blessings and are true friends bc I finally understood why it's necessary and how to be a friend. Though my resurrected essence transcends a simple understanding of reciprocity. Anchored in right view, it is one of compassion for all sentient beings, constant mindfulness that is not hindrance but joyous need, knowing, yet still beginner's mind, being, surrender, and one of the few worthy desires there is... my eternal seeking of equanimity! I know that few find and less choose the spiritual path bc it is difficult to ponder and difficult to practice w/o right view. That said, with all that has vanished materially and the self I thought l was, the one that appeared to the world as successful and content is no longer my reality. I have nothing of the type of wealth familiar to the world, but I have an abundance of intangible wealth that not only exceeds any currency but satiates the mind, soul, and body.Though anyone can attain this enlightenment and cessation of suffering no matter the hardship, it seems that most are not willing or ready to receive truth. Even though this is so, I am not deterred in my growing compassion for all, giving w/o return, loving w/o possessing and living in the eternal now w/o regret from the past or fear of the future. Now is the only moment. Now will always be the only moment! Namaste and God bless one and all bc they are one in the same. I am you, you are me, and we are pure light and love in our natural state of being.

      @@MindPodcastEnglish So sorry.....to get here was a journey only for the adept, truly. I was beaten (many times) by the CIA handlers I had to live under. I was not allowed to have patterns or connections to people or places.....and what discipline that taught me. I was one of first CIA Gateway Hemi-Sync creators, a form of which is offered on-line for sale. It differs, but has a similar outcome....it teaches you to create in 3D, during Theta meditation. Buddhism is the most intelligent approach to all of life, this is what I have experienced. It is also a place of refuge for those who have no one and no where, such as I am. I am grateful for you spreading these teachings for the benefit of all mankind.....and beyond.

    • @MindPodcastEnglish
      @MindPodcastEnglish  12 днів тому +1

      Meditation is indeed a powerful practice, often considered a form of deep, focused prayer in many traditions. It allows us to connect with inner peace, cultivate mindfulness, and develop compassion. Through meditation, we can align with a greater sense of purpose, calm, and understanding, sometimes creating the same effects that people seek through prayer: connection, guidance, and inner strength. Whether for clarity, healing, or simply presence, meditation offers profound benefits that can transform both mind and spirit.

    Nowadays, people pursue wealth, knowledge, health and long life.
    This is called good fortune.
    If the Buddha asks us to learn and practice Buddhism but we do not receive what he said we would, then we will reject the teachings.
    Why?
    If we cannot get what we wish for now, how can we believe we will receive what is promised to us for the next life?
    It is too distant and uncertain.
    When will we get to enjoy the promised great rewards?
    However, if we can receive the benefits now, we will be much more likely to believe in the promise of even greater rewards in the future.
    By truly practicing Buddhism, we will attain all that we wish for.
    Buddhism is the pinnacle of the world's wisdom and it provides the greatest enjoyment for humankind.

      Buddhism is an “organized religion,” now. It is not the same as it was during the Buddha’s time. Buddha had no intention of establishing a religion on earth. Now it is all theories and abstract concepts which people like to believe in. They’re looking for security and a promised land in the future. No difference if you believe in Christianity also…

    • @foolsgold3576
      @foolsgold3576 4 місяці тому

      I dont see practising buddhism as a means to achieve what we wish for, it is actually the exact opposite. Buddhism teaches us not to hold on to what we wish for. We can work hard for something, but if we don't get it, we should let go, this is how we can deal with suffering. Practising Buddhism will not guarantee you a "promised result", if anything, attaining enlightenment is a state where you are truly able to not let the natural flow of events affect your emotions.

      It is our practice and the true practice has no precepts and is not religion. It is observable truth and is not subject to false doctrine. Stay in your practice and the world can only reconsider its ignorance and delusion if it opens itself up to thinking autonomously@@friendsnote.1013

    Even this sounds miserable 👍 I think people have the right to the pursuit of happiness even if it doesn't last after they find it . 💯

    • @MindPodcastEnglish
      @MindPodcastEnglish  11 днів тому +1

      Absolutely, the pursuit of happiness is a fundamental part of the human experience! Buddhism and other contemplative traditions often emphasize inner peace, compassion, and understanding, which can sometimes seem focused on letting go rather than pursuing joy. But these approaches don’t negate happiness-they simply offer tools for a deeper, more resilient kind of contentment that isn’t dependent on external factors.
      Happiness in the here and now, even if it’s fleeting, is valuable and worth cherishing. It’s also meaningful to balance the joys we encounter with practices that bring peace and stability when life inevitably shifts. Embracing both the search for happiness and the grounding practices that allow us to face the ups and downs can make life richer and more fulfilling!

    Buddha 49 years of teachings is about the truth of the life and our universe.
    What is life?
    It's about ourselves. The universe is about our surrounding.
    Buddha not only detailed out all our sufferings, he also provided us the answers to end our sufferings.
    Not only to end our sufferings, the Buddha also taught us how to eradicate our sufferings.
    Where to find such great Teacher in this world?
    The Buddha’s affinity in this world last for only 12000 years. After which Buddhism will completely disappear from the surface of the world.
    The Three Period of Buddha's Teachings.
    The first thousand is called the Perfect Dharma Age.
    The second thousand years is called The Dharma Semblance Age.
    The last 10000 is the Dharma Ending Age.
    We are now at the end of the 9000 and is the beginning of the decline of Buddha's Teachings.
    The situation in the world today is already an indication of the future world: 30 years from now, the pollution in the world would be unbearable to humanity.
    Can you imagine a world without filial piety, no morality and full of deviated teachings?
    Can you imagine a world without Buddhism?
