we can pretty much assume he was auto aiming, even though Akainu had extended atk range it's not like he's a long range normal atk unit his atks were supposed to connect btw this game is total trash so such things are normal also in the end you didn't take any damage from snakeman

If you ever want to play Bege again, my tips for you are if you have skill 2 and somebody is down on the ground, use it (this requires pretty precise timing so it'll take time to get used to it). The reason why is because there is a poison cloud after the rocket hits which can definitely trick some people. The second tip is try to get as much distance between you and your opponent as possible when in a fight. This is paramount especially against characters with more close-up attacks because it prevents them from getting the upper hand as easily and could very well get you an easy KO. There needs to be more game modes like a restricted league battle with no ex characters, a bf league battle, 4 star normal banner units league battle, a 2-3 star league battle, etc. so people can have the opportunity to use whatever character they want to use instead of only using meta characters. To answer your question I don't really have one as long as they aren't bragging about doing well with him.
