These Injora deeps are definitely a pain to put together correctly. The lube is a must! I also use 2 long screws to start on opposite sides to pull the rim together. Then after I get all the other screws in ,pull out the long screws out and replace with correct size. Great video, Thanks!!👍👍
I have the yellow brass ring deep dish and it doesn’t come with the cicrcle thing to lock it onto the tire and every time I put the rim on the tire it just slides and comes out easy, what should I do?
Nice video man. I learned a lot. I will definitely be looking into venting my tires now. I have the same tires and wheels you have in the video and this definitely helped me figure out how to put them together. I bought a set of the Mickey Thompson Baja ones as well. So I'm sure I will be taking these wheels apart more than once to try out the different tires. Which leads me to a question.. the screws to put the wheel together are very small and I had to go to the toolbox and find a random allen set to put the little screws in. I don't know what size allen I ended up using or to be honest if it's even metric but it worked for now. I would like to get the proper size tool and noticed in the video that you were using a decent Allen tool. What size was the tool you were using so I can purchase the proper tool before I strip out the little screws. I see on your channel you are also into the mini Z's like I am so sure I will be checking out plenty more of your vids. Subscribed, and thank you for your time
@@TheShopMiniRC thank you for the information. That's a pretty nice tool set you linked to. I wish manufacturers would just sell individual tools with replacement tips so that you can put together a kit with the tools that you will actually use and be able to get replacement tips for them. I would like my tool set to be matching and that is hard to find without buying some $100 tool set where majority of the stuff I will never use.
@@cmkpikes some do make the tips only. We also love our MIP tools. They are basically top of the line. They make “speed tips”. amzn.to/3epbA8k And regular handled tools. amzn.to/3MxoAoE
@@TheShopMiniRC I really like those individual ones. I couldn't seem to find a handle for them though. Or the nut drivers for the wheel nut. The link you sent me to the ones with the handles can you replace just the tips on them?

There definitely be an inner ring if that’s what you’re talking about. I’d have to see the wheels you have. Got a link?

@@cmkpikes no. But I’ll be honest, the MIP…. They will probably last you 10 years before you’d need to replace one.
Just got done fu&ing around with these. Got them but not fun.
Glad you gottem. Sorry it was such a pain.
