My wife and I rode our motorcycle to Milwaukee from South Carolina for the Harley-Davidson 95th and 100th anniversaries. We had friends that were born and reared in Milwaukee and one of our friends parents lived in a Penthouse top two floors of one of the tallest buildings in town. As guest we had a suite to live in for the three days each time we were there. What a time and what trips we had. On the first trip, we met Bill Davidson, son of Willie G and he took us on a vip tour of the engine plant. Bill came to our H.O.G. club final meeting of our Columbia chapter and as road captain I had the privilege of escorting him on the poker run. That Saturday, our poker run collected over $10,000 for the diabetes foundation. Memories I will never forget.
You seem to worry a lot about your content. Those of us who are old truckers enjoy the trucking portion of the vids but we are here because we like all the content. Family, kids , trucks, you and of course the dog. We are with you through your whole life. And yes you are a dork. Havagudun and stay safe buddy.
Enjoy the laid backness of your videos. Lol ! I pull LTL always racing the clock with plenty of traffic even at night. Watching you relaxes me. Thanks to you and the German.
I retired from trucking and kinda miss it. I watch your channel because, no matter what is going on around you, you appear calm. I preferred nights. Did it for so long that I cannot still to this day, I can’t be a regular daytime person. Me and my Pittie Sophie go for walks in the dark.
Oh, please feel free to come back and join us out here with these new generations of NON DRIVING, BRAINLESS, INCONSIDERATE JACKASSES! After bein out here for 20+ years the driving public has onlygotten worse!
Kurt, thank you so much for the tour of the Miller campus. I drive school bus about halfway between Milwaukee and Madison and get to both regularly. It was really nice to be able to sit back and just enjoy, not having to be the responsible adult. Safe driving please.
Kurt your videos are appreciated because we feel connected to you as a trucker, a friend and a family man. Whether it’s trucking or time with the family we are here because of the connection. You can’t bore us….especially if Opie’s along. Day or night trips it’s all good. Be safe always.
Good Wednesday morning. Use to haul beer from Millers in Milwaukee back to Waterloo,Iowa while with Crystal Distribution. Best company I ever drove for. Loaded at night. Cans and kegs,😂
Your lucky back in the 70's there was a stop light half way up the hill on Hiway 20 in Dubuque, fun stop with a Ford 9000 cabover with a Detroit 318 and a 13 spd with a JD 646 garbage compactor for a load :)
I had a few 45 and 48 foot spreads. Had customers try to refuse to load my drivers because they wanted 53 footers. Even though they never used but 48 foot of space
I remember dropping a load in Missouri and then heading over to Budweiser a day late but they still loading me in 4 hours. I got lucky. But when they started all of a sudden I smelled beer, they hit a pallet and popped a case. Told the forklift driver to fix it, oh he was mad.
You were in Blue Mounds. I spent a lot of time there as a kid. The night before you were at Kwik Trip in Mt. Horeb . That's where I grew up. You should see it during the daylight. It's beautiful. I enjoy the ride whether it be day or night. Safe travels, and God bless.
Kurt, this place might be the famous Laverne & Shirley scene where they put gloves on a few bottles in the assembly line. Everyone else think so? Safe travels back to IOWA!
Cable seals hard on the hands until I learned to twist the cable with steel bar instead of trying to cut the cable. Works easy as can be, the cable breaks quickly.
New guy here! Dubuque my home town! If you'd like, take hwy 52 south at the bottom of the big hill. Takes you to hwy 151/61. Then only 3 stop lights to get to wisconsin.
Kept telling you, RIGHT TURN, RIGHT TURN. Guess it's changed since I was there -😁. Oh yeah bulkheads, they'll load you to the 9's, but should be legal. Drive safe friend.
That brings back memories. When I was in elementary school we moved to Wisconsin. For 3rd grade we went to Milwaukee for a school field trip we toured Miller then went down to Folgers’ Coffee plant.
Also though there is cool scenery to see in the day( on your streams) your channel followers love the way your cab inside lights are red like a sunrise
Kurt your videos are awesome. Watching them is “me” time. Nobody is allowed to disturb me 😆 Day and night runs are both great 👍 You and Opie stay safe 🚛💨🐾
Lol me and my band play at a lot of those Nashville bars 😂😂Knoxville, Asheville, Charlotte, Savannah, Atlanta, and in between Edit: Not the music on my channel, more Soul Funk based
I like the over night run’s because I him a night owl . Did you load at Heisman Brewing . Be safe and you and Opie have a wonderful night. Kurt you just a hot Cookie.
Love your videos regardless of what your filming. Your just the real deal and that's what we viewers like. Your the trucker the Dad , Husband and Son. Keep on Rollin. Pet Opie for me. My Oddy looks like him. I don't think he's gonna make it. He has an autoimmune disease that taken its toll on his body. He is such a good boy I love him but he's wasting away. He is only 3 yrs old. I adopted him from folks who gave him away. He had a rough start with the guy that bred him. Ear cartlidge was cut, tongue was split. Was in a pen that he was supposed to be a livestock guardian dog. Haha. He guards nothing. I was his 3rd home for an 18 month old dog. He's so good. He's just a gentle giant. God bless Opie for good health. You too. Stay safe out there. ❤
Love the sound of that whistling Turbo power. Have one big party with all that beer on there. 🤷🏽♂️. I don't drink much anymore so I can go with that 40 years ago I had been a dinner story.👍🏽🤙🏾🤟🏽😊😎🙋🏽♂️
Don't have a dinner story do have a lot of others but the main reason I leave beer alone is at my age I burp fart and pee a lot and beer 🍺 makes it worse 😅
Op aka the German is funny.his eating with his hind legs on his sleeper.& licking your phone lens I assume he did that. It's good to see the German your excellent back up cast back on the truck.
I been there a couple of times. Not bad . Some live load 1 or 2 drop hooks . Getting out and back onto the highway and then making the necessary lane change was a little challenging, but we made it.
Wife and I hauled a single axle humvee trailer to Omaha years back. Even then the road was so rough the trailer spent as much time airborne as it did on the road. Frost heaving would be my guess.
I worked in a bacon plant and loaded lots of trucks I never load a trailer with one pallet at the end in the middle sometimes driver will tell us how he wants it loaded and we load how ever they like
Hey Driver How are ya ? It's been a bit since I watched Opie looks good Kurt too Lol< First Class is Looking goood sounds great love that Cat C 16 Thats a good Truck Bro and that sound sound man! I'm glad to see your learning to haul and smell of Beer that's, Quite the place EH ! Peace Out From Canada the Former Home of the Free
Your overnight beer run to Omaha made me start humming Eastbound and Down. Instead of Smokey and the Bandit, Schmidt and the German. By the way it’s Kwik Trip except in Iowa. When the Wisconsin Kwik Trip came into Iowa they had to go by Kwik Star because another company Qwik Trip had C-stores and truck stops in IA,
The night time videos are fine by me Kurt. As long as you have content it’s all good. You will never know what your escapades with Opie in the truck mean to me. You are so calm and frankly a inspiration for me. I also am a owner operator leased to a carrier though.
I listen to you while I’m driving if you didn’t say it was a night run I’d never know. Bulk heads are big plastic pieces they put at the end of your load to help stabilize the beer. I’ve done hundreds of those loads. None have ever fallen. However if they did fall your load bars won’t hold it. Stick to meat it pays better. Thanks for the content.
Hi ! That reminds me of when i started trucking i was doing city work ! In the early 80s it was 48 foot trailers ! that job was fun ! I would leave the terminal North-East of Montreal and go way down of downtown Montreal at Molson and docks in an angle inside the building and it would take them 20 min to load skids of beer in bottle ! Stacked 2 high front to back ! Yes very heavy loads ! 48 foot 4 axle trailer ! We had time to go upstairs in the cafeteria there was a small bar serving bucks of beer ! so we would drink that beer and go down on the dock and trailer was ready to go ! bringing that back to the terminal and do it over ! it was more than 80,000 lbs loads ! was going all over the Quebec province ! that was a regular, every day routine ! that was the beginning of my trucking career ! Well, have a safe one ! take care ! 🤠
40 years later, downtown Milwaukee roads look the exact same.
I don't care if you are running daytime or night time loads. As long as Opie is there, I am happy!
Don't worry about running at night , I watch whatever you post. I can always take a nap.
That’s the dance floor left back there 🤘all you need is some cigarettes and cheap perfume 🤘🤘and we have a party 🥳👍😎Rickster.

I went to Downtown Nashville on a Tuesday night......you would have thought it was New Year's Eve 2999
I don't mind your night driving videos. I really enjoy the fact you don't play music in your videos. Thanks for taking along. Keep on trucking!
Kurt, thank you so much for the tour of the Miller campus. I drive school bus about halfway between Milwaukee and Madison and get to both regularly. It was really nice to be able to sit back and just enjoy, not having to be the responsible adult. Safe driving please.
I just like watching day or night
those are the best loads the overnight ones reminds me of going away with my dad in the truck to do that before he passed brings back awesome memories
Got a smokey and the bandit vibes with this beer load

Love the night time trips and all your videos 👍👍👍👍👋👋
Good Wednesday morning. Use to haul beer from Millers in Milwaukee back to Waterloo,Iowa while with Crystal Distribution. Best company I ever drove for. Loaded at night. Cans and kegs,😂
I used to work on Kenworth as a panel beater in New Zealand what a nice truck love the german
Many Brokers and Shippers require a 53 foot trailer, even when the load does not fill the trailer. It is just the standard of the industry.
I really like your night time vids because you know when to record. Ilike day time also, just not as much as night.
Your lucky back in the 70's there was a stop light half way up the hill on Hiway 20 in Dubuque, fun stop with a Ford 9000 cabover with a Detroit 318 and a 13 spd with a JD 646 garbage compactor for a load :)

Hey Mrs Sarah and families
Totally LOL’d at your comments on Casey’s. I’m from Iowa where there is a bunch of them. Most of the employees are completely oblivious to customers.
Enjoy All of your videos, keep up the good work. Be safe!
I like the videos no matter day or night. Like to see Opie is doing good. Be safe out there.
You got a Smokey and the Bandit load!!!

I like all the runs and you should try to get with supper Dan and do a day run with your trucks
If you get a backload out of Wisconsin there's a good chance it will be beer or cheese. Enjoy our state, America's Dairyland and Kwik Trip.
Yeah man dont ever stop .. we love all the content. . The family life.. you are a very special lad .. !! ❤
They talk funny in Wisconsin. You betcha.
In the wise of they talk normal in Iowa😂

Ya! Bring Me Beer!!
Opie get a free shower 😳😎Rickster
Your rite in the bowels of Milwaukee. I never liked driving thru Milwaukee
Does the Warden ever call you Fluffy. lol
Kwik trip in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Kwik star is in Iowa because of QT gas / truck stops.
I pulled rail containers out of MillerCoors in Elkton VA. Those suckers were always nose heavy as well. Rode like crap, especially being spring ride.
I prefer driving at night especially after rush hour and the early mornings are the best times great video keep up the good work God bless from GA
Yep she looked a little rough riding!!
Wife and I hauled a single axle humvee trailer to Omaha years back. Even then the road was so rough the trailer spent as much time airborne as it did on the road. Frost heaving would be my guess.
I love your videos and I drive for Decker truck line out of fort dodge Iowa right now, I've been driving truck for six years now
Waterloo. My hometown . Miss it but politics drove me away from Iowa. Great people in rural areas.
We loved your drive from Milwaukee and you do like US20 and so do we. Great to stay off 80 when you can. Safe travels,
I just picked up at the John deer in debuque headed to Florida
First time running with ya. I enjoyed the trip and the looks. Looking forward to where you go next. 😊😊😊

I always wondered how fast the old work horse runs 🤔, not to be getting tickets or anything, but always wondered.
🍭SWEET🍭Luv the nite driving!🙏🏼💖👍🏻🌞
Kwik trip is all over Wisconsin, kwik star is Illinois and Iowa I think.
I didn’t read all the comments but it is Kwik Star in Iowa and Kwik Trip in Wisconsin. You even had a Kwik Trip truck go by in your video.👍
Kwik Trip is based out of Wisconsin. When they started stores in Iowa there was already a Quik Trip. So Kwik Trip became Kwik Star.
Watch that scale going down Hwy 61 before Iowa. Lol
Love sound that cat..
