1. Download the Python script qgis_basemaps.py from this repository to your local machine.
2. Open the Python console in QGIS and load the downloaded Python script into the QGIS Python Editor.
3. Click the Run script button on the Python Editor to execute the script. This will add many basesmaps as XYZ and WMS basemaps to QGIS.
4. Restart QGIS to see the new basemaps in the XYZ Tiles and WMS sections of the Browser Panel.

Thanks for sharing with everyone! I would like to take this opportunity to report that the script worked as expected in QGIS 3.22, but is not working in 3.34.
Thanks Qiusheng, great resource and very useful!
I'm so glad I found this. Big thanks!
Hello, professor, global NDVI base map is it available in this stack basemaps. Thanks also for this work.
Awsome! Thank you!
Thank you so much useful information but Is it possible for Indian data sets
Asia landcover basemap is not available?
I'm using QGIS 3.34.7. and find that while the basemap links install, many of the links don't work.
Doesnt work for Qgis 3.34.11, even if you receive the message with "All maps have been added", they don't show up when you reopen QGis
You can try a more stable version of QGIS, like 3.32.
