Wow! Thank you for an informative tutorial and truly delighted in the way you explained the number of strands used. I will be watching more of your techniques, knowledge and skills you are sharing with me. Peace and kindness with prayers. 👌☕
Hello thank you so much for you awesome video! Just wondering, I didnt know it can be done split stitch with one strand of floss! So you just point middle of one strand?? Because I thought I couldn’t point in the middle of one strand lol
This video is very useful! I do have one doubt though. I am new to embroidery and I would like to know if I should do the filling in process first and then the outlining or do the outlining and then the filling in?
There are differences between split stitch and stem stitch. Split stitch is the needle poke through the thread while stem stitch is the needle poke next to the thread.
I'm doing my first commission of a final fantasy character. Thank you for the tutorial!
You're welcome 😊 I'm glad it helped ☺
Abosolutely fantastic! Thank you for your patience and clear explanations. Beautiful work.
Thank you for a great tutorial. It was helpful to have the drawing of the needle on the video to follow your description.
You're welcome 😊

Another great tutorial. I'm a beginner at embroidery and I find it easier to do from the top. And your design here is so adorable.

Yes you can. Use the embroidery needle size 9 (the small in the needle bundle).
@@authembroiderer what kind of thread do you use ? And size of it
Thank you for this tutorial! I wish I had known this sooner!

You can do it either ways. Whichever you're comfortable with. 😊 I normally do filling first.
Very nice

Thank you!
Can it be said that this is like stem stitch? Like a continuous stem stitch back and forth untill it fills?
There are differences between split stitch and stem stitch. Split stitch is the needle poke through the thread while stem stitch is the needle poke next to the thread.
I didn’t clearly understand the 2nd method
What type of fabric is used in it?
It looks like a sewing machine I only saw the last two stitches👎 I'm starting to embroider and I didn't even feel like it anymore
