For your corn, you put the pollen onto the silk of your ears and not the other tassels. That will pollinate the corn ensuring you get full ears.
Your garden is looking terrific and FWIW your channel is my new favorite must-watch channel. Cheers!

Wow! You sure have been busy! Your garden has grown quite a bit in the last few weeks! It was interesting to hear about the mold issue on an outside bed. Normally i think of over watered indoor grows that have these issues; Wouldn't have expected it on an outside garden! Your cat is awesome! lol

It was definitely surprising! But it only occurred where the Sluggo was applied, so I definitely think that was the culprit.
He is an awesome garden kitty. ❤️🐱

I saw you have rabbiteye blueberries. You may want to rethink that! I have 2 rabbiteye bushes and 10 or so other varieties and I've discovered I like standing up to pick berries instead of bending over to the ground (they call them rabbiteye for a reason!). Of course, you have kids so you can let them have at it with those low-growing ones but my back appreciates when I can stand up. 😆

Thank you for the heads up! I never thought twice about why they were called rabbiteye lol! I'll leave the pickins to my kiddos. 😆

This may be a stupid question, but how do you decide what goes in rows and what goes in cinder block beds? I'm completely new to gardening. Love your channel!

No stupid questions. ❤️ I'm sure it's different for everyone. For me, I decide by the number of plants needed. High-volume plants go in rows. I can grow a lot in a 50-foot row. Items that I don't need in such high volumes go in the raised beds.
Also, items that have shallow root systems I tend to put in raised beds - like greens, lettuces, kale, beets, garlic, etc. :)

Is the borage just to attract pollinators or does it have a eating/medicinal purpose. I have never heard of it.

The flowers are edible and delightful in salads! The leaves & flowers can also be used for tea, which has a wide range of benefits. 🙂
