Hey sis! Thanks for your comment. Exactly like how I demonstrated in the video but please note this is the first time I've blow dried her hair and this is the same method I've been using to blow dry my hair for years without causing heat damage (I only blow dry a few times a year by the way) 👑
What a beautiful crown your daughter ( as her mama) has, your videos have helped my daughter and I a lot in our hair journey, thank you Novella, keep going! ❤ Sorry for my english , I am french speaking, but please I have a question. I always moisturize our hair following the LCO method, with the C being a thick leave in conditionner and O hair grease. This method works perfecty for us. But how should I moisturise our hair before blow drying? Is hair grease a heat protectant or conductor?
Aww thank you so much sis I appreciate your kind words! I'm glad my videos have been helpful for you and your daughter 🙏🏾. To answer your question, you'd moisturise exactly as I did in the video. Notice at the beginning I mentioned that I had already applied a leave in conditioner to her hair before blow drying, then the heat protectant spray and then after blow drying I applied a little finishing cream? Grease isn't a heat protectant, for blow dried hair you don't need many/heavy products or even layers like the LCO method. Hope that helps 👑
@@ncbynovella Is the finishing cream you are talking about water based, like a leave in conditionner? Or can I use an oil (sealing) if I don't have one?
@@ladygeek4115 yes water based cream (the link to the one I used is in the description box) you can use an oil or even a serum it just depends on what your preference is.
Sure! I air dry her hair in plaits. Here's a quick video showing the process: ua-cam.com/video/OSmLUTHTfkg/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/ODFYl96VKEA/v-deo.html
Hey sis , thank you for your helpful videos ❤ I have a question, it’s not necessarily referred to this video. I’m a first time mom, my daughter is now 6 months and she loves sleeping on her back, and absolutely loves turning her head side to side. The back of her hair is balding and almost hairless at this point and it's very dry. And no matter how much I moisturise it, it feels like it keeps getting dryer and balder . Please what can I do?
You're very welcome! Sorry to read that, there are a number of things you can do. Please check the following video out: ua-cam.com/video/HqAgg8LX5bU/v-deo.html
