- The new band Perma. that consist of Max Bemis from SayAnything and Sherri Dupree from Eisley.
This is the first song out of 2 on the demo cd sold during a gig at the Wonder Ballroom on 10-16-09. There was about 20 maybe for sale that day and each one has autographs on the back and a hand drawn album cover by Max and Sherri Bemis.
I think this might be the first Perma songs on youtube! Enjoy!

Yes, they put out these two songs and you could only get them on tour, so the actual CD is hard to find.
Self Title is still SA, just a different kind of SA. Bemis said himself that that the course of those albums were him growing up almost. But Anarchy, My Dear, the new album coming early 2012 is gonna be along the lines of IARB. He said it would be more like its cousin. But whatever it is, it's gonna be freakin' amazing like everything else they've done

is it harder to write about happiness? think about it. what great art is about happiness? max bemis writes better when he is angry because there is more material. happiness isn't conflict, everything great about love has already been said.
I wonder how you feel now, knowing the album was horrible. I miss good Say Anything :'(

I'm not gonna lie, I was a liiiiittle disappointed, but I don't hate the album. Max is just growing up out of the pure grungy hate and spite that he had in his earlier work. During the time of IARB w was going through a lot of trouble. Now things have calmed down, he's married and happy, leading to the calmer album. I think It's good in its own right, but yeah, it's definitely not IARB.
@AlmostEast5 Still didn't like SA. A good album, but certainly not the calibur of IDOTG
