Yep! Coolest contraption. However there is a modded thing which is basically a pirate cannon, which you Can set the power and the angle of course. And so with friends we decided to calculate where our shots would land... And of course make an artillery computer out of it. You couldn't believe how proud and happy i was when after doing calculs, figuring that our shell would land at a precise distance and when we fired it, seeing the shell land right where i thought it would ! That's the moments where i love math.
There were actual guns like this back in the late 19th and early 20th century, a notable one being the MP412 Rex, which is quite a unicorn of a gun. Break action revolvers we’re much more fragile than their swing-out cylinder cousins, but they’re cool nonetheless
It's such a bad thing that the MP412 didn't get to be made in far larger numbers and probably even exported to the USA, although it got to be featured in battlefield 4 having a "modern" top break revolver in a game is different than in IRL, too bad the closest we could get to a top break revolver made with modern materials would be the Webley WW1 and WW2 revolvers.
Everything about this is perfect The clanging, the bullet sliding down the barrel before slapping abck into the shell, the numerous failed locks, the smacking of the firing pin, the slow detonation, and the zooming out to show dozens of empty shells, and best of all the screen shake on every action you do

there`s a south korean movie which was in my opinion just ok, but had a very cool scene, where the protagonist and a black market arms dealer sit opposite to each other on a table each with a disassembled pistol on their side. then one of them realises something about the other and both reassemble their pistols as fast as possible to shoot the other guy
When the mission says stealth is optional: guy does this enemy doesn’t notice. When mission requires stealth: “BREAKING NEWS Man Breaths and got shot thru concrete 3 LIGHT YEARS away omg that’s incredible!”
