The answer is pretty clear. Even if Shunsui showed up, using kyuka suigetsu on strong captain level shinigami is no joke. Again, Kubo did not say 'Aizen would lose'. He clearly says that Aizen DID NOT think he would lose, just that it would be exhausting, meaning he knows he can still beat Unohana. And if he does fight her, and he 100% will win, and he gets exhausted, and then goes for the hogyoku, all the other captains would show up and mess with his plan. People need to stop with the 'was Aizen afraid' BS Unohana herself said no one stood a chance against Aizen. She put it down to two criteria needed to face Aizen: at least captain level reiatsu/power, and not having seen the release of Aizen shikai. It is as simple as that. The only exception to this case being the attack power and bankai of Yama.

I mentioned this in another video which discussed this answer from Kubo, but I'll bring it up here again... The winner in a duel between Aizen and Unohana at the only point in the series where they logically would have thrown down is Gin. Seriously, we all know Gin's motives here, and this is a perfect opportunity for him. All he has to do is hang back until he gets an opening where he can be sure it's actually Aizen he's targeting, and take the shot. Unohana can absolutely give him that, if only by simply forcing Aizen to burn reiatsu on her until he can't maintain Kyoka Suigetsu's illusions properly. Even if he didn't interfere in the fight and just waited for one of them to win, there are only two possibilities. Either Unohana beats Aizen and has him helpless, probably unconscious, at which point Gin swoops in and steals the kill, or Aizen beats Unohana but is exhausted, at which point he's easy pickings for someone with Gin's power and abilities to finish off. And the kicker (which I actually forgot about last time I made this argument) is, Aizen knows all of this. With a metaphorical sniper rifle like Gin pointed squarely at his head, he'd have to be insane to take on a monster like Unohana before he can render the threat moot with the Hogyoku.
Honestly the only people I could see Aizen being concerned about how to dealing with prior to his first defeat was Urahara and Yamamoto.
