19 week pregnancy update

Being sick is the worst when you're pregnant! I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant, and although it's not a natural option, I took a half dose of Benadryl (although, I was told I could take a full dose) - it cleared up congestion and helped me sleep. After one night I felt so much better. For a natural option my sister swears by mixing honey and cinnamon 3 times a day (I think 1 TBS honey, with 1 tsp cinn.). I also second the Vick's vapor rub. Hope you feel better soon!

I'm just recovering from a cold and I had fresh ginger and lemon. I also used Vicks vapour rub all over my chest, back of my ears and under my nose. I also ate quarter of a clove of fresh garlic. Wish you speedy recovery xx

Brianna K I heard conflicting views on Vicks vapour but I used earths best vapour rub which has natural camphor and safe to use on kids so I figured that brand was a safer option for pregnancy xx

Heartbeat is kicking my butt now too! We find out the gender on Wednesday so that excitement is what is keeping me going. Love your little bump!

Try having turmeric milk as first thing in the morning.. get some steam as well.. both together works wonders and you will recover in no time..

For anything sinus related, I used to get a washcloth wet with water as hot as I could stand it and put it on my face. Doing it a few times in a row helped.

I'm 34 weeks 3 days with baby #1 :) Don't know gender :) I have heartburn so bad sometimes it makes me vomit... Tums never worked for me, would just make me vomit more haha... Zantac (Ranitidine) works and is safe! Can get it otc.

Hot green tea with lemon juice seems to be helping my cold right now. Maybe you could also try a hot soup like chicken noodle soup or something :-) I can't get over how cute your belly is... You are the cutest pregnant momma bear ever!
