Hey Mark, We use squid and sardines for bait when going for sharks and bat rays. We have fished all different spots on the rock wall and have had some good catches, I hear if you walk to the very end its really great for stripers but we have never made it that far on the rock wall. We recommend fishing toward the bay, not towards the shore line. We haven't really gotten snagged up to much out there, its a great place to fish. Good luck! Let us know what you catch!

How big do u think those bat rays were. I caught a few about the same sise if not a little bigger at catalina island.
