    Great! So basically closed arrangements rely on getting all the cords in the same area on the neck. I've never seen those naming conventions for the major scale before, have you explained them before? Also that Em chord didn't look like it used one of the minor shapes, I'll have to play back at half speed to follow along.

      Hi! It's good to start with getting the chords around the same area. However once you're comfortable with that, you should feel free to move up and down the neck. This will allow you to articulate the melody better (more slides, hammer-ons etc), and reach different chord voicings as well. I do explain all these scale position names in my online course.
