Well because he's funny, I have heard other comedians add vulgarity into their set and it just sounds vulgar, if you're actually funny you can say anything.

He didn't really come from anywhere. Unfortunately, real stand up comedians, that are even remotely funny, are prevented from appearing on mainstream television these days.

When I was a young lad, decent Scottish comedians were ten-a-penny. But I thought they'd been hunted to extinction in the wild, their population educed to a shuffling and confused Billy Connelly and a single, toothless Frankie Boyle kept in captivity at the BBC. But then this magnificent specimen (of breeding age!) is spotted in the inhospitable wastelands of London and there is hope. Leo, find yourself a funny wee lassie and start re-populating the species! And come to Amsterdam! Toomler is a coolest comedy venue in the world (says Doungfucking Stanhope). You'd kill it.

Man, I uploaded a video once and the UA-cam captions thought I was speaking German
So I started to reply to you re Dumfries, then I thought am I spelling this correctly, so onto Google maps, yes I'd got it right. However the subtitles read Thumb freeze! It goes on and on. So there's you being absolutely brilliant and so funny and the subtitles hysterical. I'm now going to change my knickers!
Just seen this guy for the first time on STV and agreed with all he was saying about how the modern day Left has "jumped the shark"! And it's true, much as I hate to admit it, being a life long Leftie.

Saw a set on Comedy Unleashed which I really enjoyed so that brought me here, it's great what they're doing for UK standup :D Anyway, there's maybe a joke in the name routine with Sagittarius as it sounds like Saggy Teary Arse ... something like ...
