I’ve had this bag for nearly two years, really functional and handy, used it for short flights, everyday at work, cycling, going to the beach etc. Pretty great for all of these and has never let me down, especially considering the weight I’ve put into it. The D clip is adjustable but as long as the weather is good you can stretch the backpack even further and attach a zip tie or carabiner to enable to still be able to clip it together, with it rolled minimally, great hack if you need to fit in a couple of extra things in.

Do you find that it gets dirty easily/ that its hard to clean once it does get dirty ?. I currently used a canvass backpack but find that it gets pretty dirty and its not the easiest material to clean, especially in black.

Thanks for the review! I used to own their tote backpack, but one gripe I had with that was how difficult it was to access the "quick access" pocket outside. The material was stiff and there was no dimension, making it so hard to pull out stuff when the bag was full. Do you think this bag will will have similar issues?

Can you do a video on the Rains BUCKLE Rolltop Rucksack?
If a water bottle leaks in the main storage, can it easily damage the laptop since those two parts are separated? Or
I have the MSN a cargo and I spilled my waterbottle in my backpack more than once. Invest in a good waterbottle pls lol. Whatever was in my laptop pocket stayed dry. Don’t recommend trying though, however. Lol

Zip at the top to close it, would be perfect.
But that goes against a main design feature of the bag. The roll-top has no zip, the fewer moving parts the better.
Also you can minimise the size of the bag to what's actually inside it. Better for keeping out water too.

I was considering buying this backpack mostly for work. Storing my 13 inch mac pro. And lunch kit and other essentials. I thought it’d be better compared to the other rains backpack models because of the extra padded shoulder straps. You think this would do?

Both options offer excellent weather resistance and feature a lightweight design. I guess if you prioritize eco-friendliness, the Stubble Co Roll Top may be the better choice for you. Cheers!

One question - does the Material easily Scratches?
The nature of the PU material will be easier to scratch than a typical polyester or nylon material. The PU scratches will appear much more easier than other bags - hope that helps.
Hiya, I have a question. I wanna order this backpack, but on the website it says its about 31 x 49 x 10 cm (width x height x depth). Now I was wondering (and cant find anywhere) if that height is with the top still 'rolled'? Or is that the complete height of the fabric (like, unrolled)? My laptop is 42 x 29 cm. Do you, or anyone else for that matter, has any idea? : )
When the bag is rolled down to its tightest position, what is the height of the bag top to bottom?
The Rolltop Rucksack is adjustable in size and can be rolled down to different heights depending on the user's needs. The bag is made with a roll-top closure system that allows for flexible packing volume, and when the bag is rolled down completely, it will be shorter in height than when it is rolled up fully. Therefore, the height of the bag top to bottom when it is rolled down to its tightest position would depend on how much of the bag is rolled down.

Hey man, i kayak, what do you think of that roll top? Im not planning on putting any damageables in it when im cruising. Just in case i have to do rolls in the water etc. But you think its adventure proof?
I think it's a decent rolltop and does work to protect the internals. But for adventures and hiking, I'd suggest a more practical bag that is specifically made for outdoors. - Ed
