DotA still being updated? I don't remember pudge actualy having a hook, when I last played, very long time ago. edit: I just noticed the improved user interface and timer on top. didn't know this game still gets patches, is it worth playing over dota 2 in 2024?
@@fatsunforgettablemoments Can you also tell me why? I understand someone plays DotA due to some nostalgic feelings, but there is basically 0 reason why play DotA over DotA 2. In DotA2 You have matchmaking, consistent matches, better control, less bugs, patches, esports etc etc... DotA 1 Pathing and Movement still feels scruffy if compared to DotA2 and i played both alot.
@@SetysSAK People are resistant to change and refuse to be challenged or go outside of their comfort zone. For many, playing the video game equivalent of a rotting corpse is preferable to having to learn or re-learn game knowledge. In addition, playing the old version gives people power. In all the formats where I tried it, people are bitter, angry bullies who do their best to gatekeep the game. This, coupled with extremely limited documentation/information on mechanics makes it this perfect little ivory tower that is unapproachable to the general masses. Switching over to DOTA 2 would rob them of their social standing within their tiny niche and make them just another player among the hundreds of thousands of people. In a lot of cases, THEY would be the "noob" that may struggle with the game at first because their arcane knowledge of this fossil wouldn't transfer over. But yeah, the graphics are bad, I guess.

Everybody has own preferences. I don't play DotA 2. I play Dracolich DotA which you can see in the video

@@netctrl I agree, tho i am kinda used to DotA2 Graphics and i think it is way more polished than in WC3 DotA which is way darker
