- The 4th official dEUS video from the 2008 album Vantage Point is for the Single 'Eternal Woman'.
It features guest roles by Michiel Romeyn (Jiskefet fame), Wilfried de Jong and Italian actress Martina Stella and was directed by Tom Barman.
Note: Tom Barman won the SABAM Jury Award for Best Music Video at the International Short Films Festival Leuven on December 5th 2008 for directing this video.

purtroppo certi gruppi meritano piu attenzione di quanta ne hanno..ovviamente i deus sono sempre stati sottovalutati fin dagli anni 90,ma chi di musica ne capisce sicuramente apprezzera le capacita di questo gruppo e il suono che li contraddistinguono,profondo e pulito..eternal woman e' una delle migliori tratte da vantage point secondo io mio punto di vista

I can explain the italian words if you wish, but it's just technicalties from the recording studio ("can you hear me?", "it won't work"...). I think the meaning is that at the beginning they can hear the band but can't broadcast it. Then they turn the aerials and they manage to transmit the song.
It's 'ridiculous' not 'ridicolous' but you can't expect an Italian to be well-versed in English can you, just like you can't expect a Belgian... well you get the point ;) Often it's the thought that counts, right?
FYI, this video is NOT meant to be taken too seriously (the fact that Michiel Romeyn (Jiskefet fame) is in the video should be a hint for some) :)
That being said: feel free to give us some examples of the ridiculousness of the Italian words used in this video. Might be fun ;)

i don't really understand why they're speaking italian and why the video takes place in italy... but as an italian, i just love the combination
because the actrice is italian and dEUS made music for a movie (italian) in wich she played l' ultimo bacio (the ultimate kiss) very good movie!!!!!
