His wife must INSIST he stays on the road. It would be too insane to have him around the house for an extended stretch...
No Way,
I wouldn't let Frank out.
He is MINE ! ALL MINE.
HAPPINESS, LAUGHTER.
SLEEP WELL EVERY NIGHT.
Somehow I doubt he acts like that at home.
This guys can literally carry on a conversation with himself.
Facts
If Jim Carrey and Robin Williams had a kid!
We need this person on Hot Ones.
wooooooooooooow. As a hot fans superfan, i agree yes yes yes yes (jeff goldblum)
I was lucky enough to meet him back in 2006. First celebrity I ever met. He's not only talented but a super nice guy as well.
frank has that rare combination of being a great impressionist and a great comedian.
Non-stop rapid fire delivery. Amazing how he can transition into various persona's without missing a beat. It has to be the vocal chords. If Rich Little is the King of Impression then Frank Caliendo is the "Crown Prince".
If ADHD was a person
So Jim Carrey?
@@Modernww2fare Carrey is now old and tepid.
But he is awesome tho
Marvin Thiessen And?
It would be robin williams
Caliendo reminds one of Robin Williams. As talented as he is it can be a bit much when he is so frenetic.
And ironically enough, he does a good Robin Williams impression
Yea
You can't try to focus just open up your brain to be like fishing nets and don't narrow, expand. It helps if you close your eyes for a bit and let it wash over you. Frank is the best. I wonder if he and Robin were ever on the same show. Then to add an extra drop of crazy, throw Jim Carey into that pot.
Bro was thinking the same thing.
Now that you mention it, I can see it
I have no idea why the Raiders paid John Gruden a $100 million to coach the Raiders when the could have got Caliendo for $10 million, and he would have been a better Gruden than Gruden.
Especially now. I wanna see Frank do a Gruden public apology
Oh this aged well
Who needs Gruden when ya have Madden?
Normally Frank isn't this confident. It's a nice change of pace.
If Jim Carrey and Robin Williams had a kid!
Saw Frank at Zanies in Nashville maybe 20 years ago just before he blew-up. He has that special manic streak ability to riff endlessly on the fly that Robin Willisms had. He clearly puts a lot of time and effort into impressions and delves deeply into the nuances of each voice. Major props.
Holy cocaine Batman! Lol
did he and roenick bump some lines backstage or what?
codedecode that would be cool AF to do lines with a retired athlete that u folowed while active
JR has a great sense of humor!
This guy is gifted. love him!
That was a frenetic performance. Love Caliendo... a real talent. He does a great William Shatner.
Frank is amazing love his gruden
Whatever you do don’t give this guy coffee.
Or crack.
Hahahhaha
I don’t think he would need it!
He drinks a gallon before every show 😂
Hey listen, the guy impersonates MEL KIPER JUNIOR, NEEDS A LOT OF COFFEE TO SUSTAIN, ICED, NOT HOT, coffee, really good beverage for sustaining a the most famous nfl draft analyst ever.
Frank I love you. Could you attend my daughters 10th birthday party? thanks. Pay you with pizza?
His impressions are perfect
Kareem Beaman
Especially, Morgan freeman
You a a brilliant impersonator- love your George w bush the best
He did a pretty good RDJ😂
He did the past three presidents in a row Conversing with each other without missing a beat. He got to do a sketch on that in full makeup.
In full makeup? That would include black face. Just hope you realize that.
The Real RZRshrpe Nice troll.
Icutmetal I really wasn’t trolling. Just being serious. Frank would be canceled faster than the Friends spin-off “Joey”
My brain can’t process how he can LOOK like the people he’s impersonating. Blows my mind.
He hasn’t changed a bit.
That Chris Evans is so subtle, it's brilliant.
Frank is right about the retired professional athletes. Many of them were in a sense put on a pedestal... and they began to believe the hype. So bruising their inflated ego isn't impossible when a great entertainer or comedian pulls off a good one now and then.
When you have a guest on your show and don’t have to say anything because he literally doesn’t stop talking
His facial expressions are as good as his voices and that’s saying something...
I have to put on my DEPENDS when he does George Bush. I cannot hold it in.
I grew up where Aurelio's Pizza was started as it was in Homewood Illinois! Love seeing Frank here and loved seeing my first Pizza place get some praise!
Great comedian!
His energy is insane. Never seen him like that
You think it mught be coke?
Mad tv was better than snl. Change my mind
Mike Murray Oh no doubt, MadTV was waaaayy better.
Preach!
I would love to see him do an Avengers skit he's already got Loki and RDJ down pat.
Can you imagine him doing Chris Hemsworth as Thor.
What the hell was in the pizza? Frank went insane for 10 minutes.
The sausage apparently lol
His entire routine is essentially at it's Core Robin Williams and builts from there.
Very gifted, undoubtedly talented but this segment was a runaway train
Robert Downey Jr. impression is good.
Good grief the studio audience is pathetic! Caliendo delivered more elite comedy in a few minutes than most other comics can produce in a full hour special. Yet, this comatose crowd either couldn't keep up or just didn't "get it." The guy is a master, and he put on an absolute comedy clinic. This crowd did't deserve such a performance.
Do you know who goes to talk shows in the middle of the day? These are not the sharpest people...
Daytime tv. Same thing happened to david letterman. He bombed until he went to late night. Different crowd. Look it up...
I think sometimes that he goes so fast that the crowd doesn't want to miss anything by laughing too much. It's kinda like listening to Robin Williams..🙂
I agree. His impressions are very good, but he's not all that funny.
THIS GUY IS THE BEST !
He reminds me of Robin Williams but on less drugs.
Frank inspiring Thanos is hilarious.
I'll be done when I'm done.
Maybe just me, but I thought the way she was laughing at him and touching his arm she was going to ask if he ever divorced his wife if he'd date a TV anchor and he shut it down in the best way possible lol I felt like she was I to him
A modern-day Rich Little!
His Morgan Freeman is spot on,,
Jeremy Roenick was a legend when he was in Philadelphia. Not only was he a great teammate, he did tons of charity work and private work with kids.
His Charles Barclay is hilarious
It’s definitely not turble. Barkley has such a great sense of humor I bet he loves it
90 seconds in and he hasnt done a single damn impression yet but still stole the show XD
FRANK,! You’re no bigger than one of my massive farts!!!!!! Lol!
He’s certainly entertaining. All over the place like robin williams except that he’s funny.
shit storyteller, the best impersonater tho- lol keep it up frank
He needs to be in more movies most underrated comedian.
Great standup. Dislike his morning shows. Take. A. Breath.
9:42 was that a Chris Farley impression? Those Body Movements looked Chris Farley like.
Yes, he doesn't immitate Farley enough because he does a great job with that one.
@@chrisb8655 Yeah He does. That's Clearly a Chris Farley impression.
"I'll be done when I'm done."
lol
What makes people like Frank great isn't their talent for impressions - a lot of people can do that. It's how fast his synapses fire and how he sees the world around him along with his ability to communicate it to the audience. That's not as common.
He had his show , I just don’t understand why people didn’t like it he’s one of the bestttt
Just saw his podcast with Dennis Miller earlier today! Great podcast!!! Love Frank, didn’t know he was a Chicago boy, hey ME TOO!!!!!
Sweet story about his daughter at Comic-Con
This isn't the first show he's milked about the "broken elbow-daughter" comic-con story and it's become redundant.
Lost some weight. Looking healthy, Frank.
Boy can this guy work a crowd. Holy crap :D
He's the best!!!! But you gotta go to Lou Malnati's!!!!!!🍕🍕🍕
Hello,
Frank,
Thank you !
Please, Planet Earth Needs You.
Anyone else picking up Matt Damon from 8:12 to 8:23?
He is naturally on coke damn what energy
Can you imagine at all times people wanting you to do impressions?! He's probably only himself when with family
3/4 he looks exactly like Russell Crowe. He needs a Russell Crowe.
Frank looks a bit confused at the beginning, not sure if it's okay to hug the female anchor without fear of p.c. repercussion. Sad times we live in when we have to over-think every waking moment.
Agreed. I was wondering if he would shake her hand, maybe a fist bump or a risky hug, kiss her on the cheek or pat her on the back. Instead he ignored her and feigned confusion over where he was supposed to sit. Painful.
@@rango_unchained Agreed. I think Frank is terrified one innocent boo-boo and his career is in the toilet. Then he has to get a regular job doing something far less fun.
@@marvinthiessen3454 No, 'terrified' is far to strong a word. I would say he understands the climate and continues to be a clean performer and a class act.
@@rango_unchained My initial adjective was too descriptive. Think out loud these days and there goes your job. Everyone's walking around in a strait jacket because someone, somewhere, might have a melt-down over an innocent remark. Build a time machine and take me back before p.c ruined everything. Even progressives are tired of these dainty snowflakes.
The rambunctious throat principally tap because thailand utrastructurally bruise excluding a enthusiastic streetcar. wooden, boorish comma
Impressions are always super good as usual. Material is to hyper and not funny
Shes the perfect cougar 😍
I'm like 28 and would take her out for wine and dinner
Aaw ive tried for years to nail a Morgan Freeman impression...and this guy just jumps in and out of it.😂❤
Honey, I shrunk the talk show hosts. Wow that table's huge.
Worst audience
The audience wasn't there to see him. They were there because it was free.
Liked him before he did mostly sports people.
Frank and me used to hang out at a local pub and hustle pool and drink cold beer, a real stand up guy
Cant they just let him eat the frickin pizza first ffs
I want some of that pizza!
John Gruden !!!
I would hate AND love to be stuck in the same room as Frank Caliendo and Kevin Smith.
Kevin Smith never says anything...
June 29th is my birthday too.
The audience is not cool enough for this.
Caliendo eats the pizza the whole time: "warlords!!"
He's the only guy I know who can do a great non-star-trek Shatner
Easiest interview in the biz, lol.
Put him on Family Guy with Seth
In front of a live studio audience of 9 people...
Man oh man, what must his brain chemistry be like ?
I wished he would have done Bill Walton, it is great.
Frank was great but wtf is this bs network staged show?
Frank's just too fast for that lady lol
A perfect Bush, Obama and Trump, all in one sentence. Then he kept dropping into Morgan Freeman...omg! Fantastic!
9:30 I like how he sounded like John Madden when he choked on the Sausage lol. I like how he went from John Madden Choking to Robert Downey Jr saying "is this Good?".
His energy reminds me of Robin williams. Go watch Robin Williams interviews, very much so the same. Not many people in history give off that maniac behavior, Robin was the GOAT at that and weaving a story with his quips.
He forgot the one hes most famous for the madden one
He grew up in Wisc 😏😏 just so yall know...so whats in the cheese? Lolol
Getting serious Robin Williams vibes from him during this interview
He and Godfrey need to get together(possibly with the best other impersonators going) and do a clean variety slow; that would be special!
That pizza was looking like a piece of fried chicken 😂😂😂
Was Frank coked up here or what?
