A SCP Classification is given to a SCP based on how difficult it is to contain them and here is the full list according to the SCP Foundation Wikidot of SCP Classifications Primary Classes 1. Safe 2. Euclid 3. Keter Secondary Classes 1. Thaumiel 2. Apollyon 3. Archon 4. Ticonderoga Non-Standard Object Classes 1. Explained 2. Neutralized 3. Decommissioned 4. Pending 5. Uncontained (NOTE: THESE ARE NOT ALL THE CLASSES AS NEW CLASSES ARE MADE FOR JUST 1 OR 2 SCPs SOMETIMES AND WOULD BE TOO HARD TO TRACK AND LIST AND AREN'T THAT IMPORTANT) If your wondering what class a SCP Should have this is the Locked Box Test If you lock it in a box, leave it alone, and nothing bad will happen, then it's probably Safe. If you lock it in a box, leave it alone, and you're not entirely sure what will happen, then it's probably Euclid. If you lock it in a box, leave it alone, and it easily escapes, then it's probably Keter. If it is the box, then it's probably Thaumiel. If it used to need a box, but no longer does, it's Neutralized. If this is because of a deliberate decision by the Foundation, it was probably Decommissioned. If it turns out it never needed a box in the first place, it's probably Explained. If you can't fit it in a box and it's about to end the world, then it's probably Apollyon. If you could have locked it in a box but chose not to, then it's probably Archon. If you can't fit it in a box but that's not a big deal, then it's probably Ticonderoga. If you're not sure what box to put it in yet, it's probably Pending. Edit: Esoteric class is a group of classes that are only used for like 1 or 2 SCPs that would be too much to all list in total as it's impossible to keep track of every single SCP Class as many are made very often. (It could be checked via a bot but that would still be complicated.) Edit Again: Here is a Complete guide to scp object classes! imgur.com/more-merrier-maybe-object-class-guide-v1-1-BmArqng (NOTE: I DID NOT DO THE GUIDE ALL CREDIT GOES TO Reddit u/AntazarOfQwurz) Edit once again cuz someone got a longer comment: This is the full summary of some scp classes ---PRIMARY CLASSES--- - These are the most common Object Classes used in SCP articles, and make up the bulk of the objects. Safe - Safe-class SCPs are anomalies that are easily and safely contained. This is often due to the fact that the Foundation has researched the SCP well enough that containment does not require significant resources or that the anomalies require a specific and conscious activation or trigger. Classifying an SCP as Safe, however, does not mean that handling or activating it does not pose a threat. Euclid - Euclid-class SCPs are anomalies that require more resources to contain completely or where containment isn't always reliable. Usually this is because the SCP is insufficiently understood or inherently unpredictable. Euclid is the Object Class with the greatest scope, and it's usually a safe bet that an SCP will be this class if it doesn't easily fall into any of the other standard Object Classes. As a note, any SCP that's autonomous or sapient is generally classified as Euclid, due to the inherent unpredictability of an object that can act or think on its own. Keter - Keter-class SCPs are anomalies that are exceedingly difficult to contain consistently or reliably, with containment procedures often being extensive and complex. The Foundation often can't contain these SCPs well due to not having a solid understanding of the anomaly, or lacking the technology to properly contain or counter it. A Keter SCP does not mean the SCP is dangerous, just that it is simply very difficult or costly to contain. --- SECONDARY CLASSES --- - The following object classes are less frequently used, and designate anomalies with unusual containment requirements. Thaumiel - Thaumiel-class SCPs are anomalies that the Foundation specifically uses to contain other SCPs. Even the mere existence of Thaumiel-class objects is classified at the highest levels of the Foundation, and their locations, functions, and current status are known to few Foundation personnel outside of the O5 Council. Apollyon - Apollyon-class SCPs are anomalies that cannot be contained, are expected to breach containment imminently, or some other similar scenario. Such anomalies are usually associated with world-ending threats or a K-Class Scenario of some kind, and require a massive effort from the Foundation to deal with. Archon - Archon-class SCPs are anomalies that could theoretically be contained but are best left uncontained for some reason. Archon SCPs may be a part of consensus reality that is difficult to fully contain, or may have adverse effects if put into containment. These SCPs are not uncontainable - the defining feature of the class is that the Foundation chooses to not put the anomaly into containment. Ticonderoga - Ticonderoga-class SCPs cannot be contained, but also do not need to be contained. While these anomalies are similar to Archon-class SCPs in that their containment is unnecessary, Ticonderoga-class SCPs are distinguished by also not being containable given the Foundation's current knowledge and resources. This may be due to their widespread or ubiquitous occurance on Earth, despite the general public remaining unaware of their existence or anomalous nature, although the Ticonderoga class also includes extraterrestrial anomalies beyond the current reach of the Foundation. --- Non-Standard Object Classes --- - Most of the following Object Classes indicate that an SCP has not yet been assigned a standard object class, or that it was previously assigned a Standard Object Class but no longer requires containment. There are also additional Object Classes that are used less frequently than the ones listed above, known as Esoteric or Narrative object classes. Explained - Explained SCPs are commonly articles about anomalies that are completely and fully understood, to the point where their effects are now explainable by mainstream science, or phenomena that have been debunked or falsely mistaken as an anomaly. Neutralized - Neutralized SCPs are former anomalies that are no longer anomalous, either through having been intentionally or accidentally destroyed or disabled. Decommissioned - Decommissioned SCPs are anomalies that have been intentionally destroyed or stripped of their anomalous properties by the SCP Foundation. As the Foundation usually tries to contain rather than neutralize anomalous objects, this object class is only used when it is not possible to fully contain an anomaly, or when excessive expenditure of resources is required to keep an anomaly in containment. Decommissioning may also be performed for ethical reasons, particularly when containment necessitates extreme suffering or is unable to prevent excessive loss of life. To avoid any unnecessary losses, decommissioning anomalies requires authorization from a higher authority, such as the O5 Council, the Ethics Committee, or the Decommissioning Department. Pending - SCP articles that have not yet been assigned an object class may be labelled as Pending. This is used to indicate that the Foundation does not currently have enough information to assign an object class to the anomaly. This is a deliberate decision to emphasize that research is ongoing, and isn't the same as the author not knowing which object class to assign! Uncontained - SCPs that are not yet contained may be assigned an object class, often Keter, but in some articles Uncontained is used in place of an object class to emphasise that ongoing effort is required to establish or restore containment. I will do EVERY SINGLE OBJECT CLASS EVER USED IN SCP FOUNDATION HISTORY if this comment gets 125 Likes!
For clarification, there are many more classes, Safe, Euclid, and Keter are just the most common. Also they aren’t based on danger levels, but how easy they are to be contained. For example, SCP 3971 I think it is?? Is a kid wearing a cardboard box suit who can’t hurt anyone, yet is labeled as Keter. It’s because he’s impossible to contain. Euclid means the entity is unpredictable, and containment measures vary. Safe means very little containment is required.
It's how much they break out of containment. So yeah Edit: there is many.(get ready for a paragraph. Thaumiel apollyon explained neutralised maksur zeno embla euclid-ignotus 53 humanoid keter-thaumiel yesod non-anomalous safe-prodest euclid-impetus safe-impetus euclid-nunctii nehemoth BFF former glorious kronecker decommissioned. The next ones are from a forum so they aren't published. yggdrasil anatta truculent simpatico.Theyre could be more but this is all I have. Bye!
If he's impossible to contain they would be an apollyon so idk why it's keter.Plus it's contained in site 54 maintenance tunnels. So your also wrong there. Edit:also 3971 is not that one.3971 is a gray steel core door. It's 3663.
fun fact one of the safest scps called scp 999 or the tickle monster was summoned from a cult thinking that they would please a literal demonic god and that it would bring destruction and horror but instead it just makes people very happy and eats candy instead of human souls Edit: despite having a diet of candy a worked once gave him soda and he bounced off of walls for a few hours til it wore off. The worker than got fired since it could have led to escapes Edit 2: he is indeed related to the scarlet king and the scarlet king actually does have the number 001
I kind of have a strange attachment to this video I watched it minutes after you posted it because at the time my grandpa was dying of lung cancer (he didn't survive the night) so honestly thanks for posting when you did it helped me alot
The classifications are not an indicator of danger. There are safe SCPs that are deadly. What the classifications are levels of containment difficulty. Safe classes, you could just leave in a drawer and it wouldn't do anything. Euclid are a little bit more unpredictable and are generally more difficult to contain. Keter class are very very dangerous and unpredictable. Most sentient SCPs are Keter because those are the ones who are truly out for blood.
UNLESS! ALEC IS AN SCP AND HE'S TRYING TO CONVINCE US THAT ADAM IS AN SCP WHOSE TRYING TO CONVINCE OTHERS THAT JACK IS AN SCP WHOSE TRYING TO CONVINCE OTHERS THAT THE KING OF MOUNT EVEREST ISN'T AN SCP AND THE GUY IS NOT SHY GUY AFTER ALL!!
Every Class so know explained Safe - Harmless and easy to contain Euclid - Harmful and hard to contain but can't break out of the cell if you contain it Keter - dangerous and hard to contain and probably will breach out of containment Thamiuel - Used to contain other scps Neutralized - Dead scps Explained - explained scps Pending - unexplainable scps
Well the scp foundation is a secret originasation that is approved by the government to contain the anomaly. The meaning of scp is: secure contain protect
There are actually 13 classes which are safe, ueclid, keter, apollyon, archon,Thaumiel, neutralized, explained, decommisioned, cernnunos, pending, primary classes, and esoteric classes Answer: This strange entry in 2007 was the genesis of what we now know as the SCP Foundation, a spooky, fictional universe centered around a Wiki that hosts thousands of posts, from contributors across the globe who contribute to its lore. SCP Foundation is crowdsourced folklore at some of its finest.
Just to correct some points 1) There are more than the 3 main classes like neutralised, Apollyon and Thaumiel. Plus, Safe means it’s easy to contain but does not mean it will not cause harm to you. Euclid is when the SCP is unpredictable. Just for people to understand Keter is basically extremely hard and difficult to contain and is somewhat sentient. 2) SCP-096 WILL not be provoked if its face is drawn. Only Taken photos and actually looking at SCP-096’s Face will provoke it. 3) There are many unconfirmed theories about the origin of SCP-096 with none being confirmed. 4) SCP-096 has just infinite strength but he does not seem to be sentient. So he will not climb upon a spaceship and fly to space no he will probably just jump straight up into outer space. Pls correct me if I am wrong
The object classes are meant as to keep them contained NOT how dangerous they are. A button that can end the world is safe since all it needs is to be locked up. A cat that can teleport with another cat every 40 minutes would be Keter.
The meaning that your body is hot in super cold situation is the body giving it's last heat on your body if you feel hot in cold situation you need to make and stay hot

11:55 yea, this feeling is your body using the last of it's energy to keep you warm. It's a last resort to keep you alive, and if you don't get warm soon you die. Apparently this feeling spurs you to take off your clothes? But that makes you die faster, so don't do it 😂
And also in the video you saw that S demon you said it’s actually a CP. I forgot his number, but the SCP is a monster is when you go to the 8000 m on Mount Everest and that SCP will appear. It is cheater it hasn’t been contained and once you feel like a hot breeze then if you try to run away or go away, you will die.
2:31 no safe means minimum resources needed for containment. 2:32 Euclid(you-clid) means more resources needed for containment. 2:44 keter(keh-ter) many resources and very hard to contain. Apollyon(uh-pol-eee-on) means impossible to contain.
I am a trained Task Force Lieutenant and I can tell you what I have experienced from Shy Guy. The Chaos Insurgency hacked the broadcast TVs to show SCP-096's face. After my fellow Task Forces stopped this, I wanted to check out 096. I had scramble gear on which censors 096's face. Sadly, I had to kill one of my Task Forces because he had breached 096. I bagged 096's face and put him back to his inescapable cell. That is all.
2:26 two things 1 there’s a lot more then 3 Object classes You have your Primary class with Primary Classes Safe Euclid Keter Thaumiel Neutralized Pending Explained Esoteric Then you have your Secondary Classes Major Esoteric Classes 2.1 Apollyon 2.2 Archon 2.3 Cernunnos 2.4 Decommissioned 2.5 Gödel 2.6 Hiemal 2.7 Principalis 2.8 Tiamat 2.9 Ticonderoga 2.10 Thaumiel 2.11 Uncontained 2.12 Yesod Major Secondary Classes 3.1 Suffix System 3.1.1 Impetus 3.1.2 Nuntii 3.1.3 Prodest I couldn’t be bothered to remove the numbers And 2 Safe means doesn’t pose a current threat/problem exp Scp-999 Euclid means hard to contain and always breaching exp Scp-173 Keter means Dangerous but doesn’t really breach Exp Scp-682
I Mean doesn’t really breach by Scp-106 can only Breaches when he is awake he is dormant and Sleeps through about a period of 5 months Scp-682 is Contained in a pit of acid and can only breach when Drained Scp-2006 Poses a dangerously high risk but doesn’t breach because he is tricked
As an SCP enthusiast I must say your wrong on a total of 3 things I think in this video 1. What class there in isn’t how dangerous they are(common mistake) it’s how hard it is to contain them 2. There is MANY more classes 3. Shy guy also known as Shy Guy is dangerous but I forgot where you said it you said that it was the most dangerous which is false as the most dangerous is SCP 682 AKA the hard to destroy reptile

2:25 safe, euclid, and keter are just the overarching categories, theres actually more that go inbetween thoughs
shy guy is a son of a b,,,,
what i didnt knew that hahahaha
A SCP Classification is given to a SCP based on how difficult it is to contain them and here is the full list according to the SCP Foundation Wikidot of SCP Classifications
Primary Classes
1. Safe
2. Euclid
3. Keter
Secondary Classes
1. Thaumiel
2. Apollyon
3. Archon
4. Ticonderoga
Non-Standard Object Classes
1. Explained
2. Neutralized
3. Decommissioned
4. Pending
5. Uncontained
(NOTE: THESE ARE NOT ALL THE CLASSES AS NEW CLASSES ARE MADE FOR JUST 1 OR 2 SCPs SOMETIMES AND WOULD BE TOO HARD TO TRACK AND LIST AND AREN'T THAT IMPORTANT)
If your wondering what class a SCP Should have this is the Locked Box Test
If you lock it in a box, leave it alone, and nothing bad will happen, then it's probably Safe.
(It could be checked via a bot but that would still be complicated.)
Edit Again: Here is a Complete guide to scp object classes! imgur.com/more-merrier-maybe-object-class-guide-v1-1-BmArqng (NOTE: I DID NOT DO THE GUIDE ALL CREDIT GOES TO Reddit u/AntazarOfQwurz)
Edit once again cuz someone got a longer comment: This is the full summary of some scp classes
---PRIMARY CLASSES---
- These are the most common Object Classes used in SCP articles, and make up the bulk of the objects.
--- SECONDARY CLASSES ---
- The following object classes are less frequently used, and designate anomalies with unusual containment requirements.
--- Non-Standard Object Classes ---
- Most of the following Object Classes indicate that an SCP has not yet been assigned a standard object class, or that it was previously assigned a Standard Object Class but no longer requires containment.

Yo could you give me some ticonderoga SCP i never Heard about that class
For clarification, there are many more classes, Safe, Euclid, and Keter are just the most common. Also they aren’t based on danger levels, but how easy they are to be contained. For example, SCP 3971 I think it is?? Is a kid wearing a cardboard box suit who can’t hurt anyone, yet is labeled as Keter. It’s because he’s impossible to contain. Euclid means the entity is unpredictable, and containment measures vary. Safe means very little containment is required.
It's how much they break out of containment. So yeah
Edit: there is many.(get ready for a paragraph. This story send shivers running down my spine😱
wow.
There is also Archon, Apollyon, and neutralized for containment classes.

I thought there we're only 4 classes
Just to correct some points
1) There are more than the 3 main classes like neutralised, Apollyon and Thaumiel.
