They probably won't allow trading rare cards, only diamond and one star, so the "chase" motivation will still be there. At least at first, then they'll allow it later on.
Also, it'll probably be same rarity trades. 4 diamond for a 4 diamond, 1 star for a 1 star, etc. So idk if people will really get "ripped off" in that case.
