    I actually got to do a bunch of swimming this week while on vacation and I am happy to report that the swim length tracker is surprisingly very accurate! Only 1 out of 3 swims was incorrect and only by one length., I'm pretty pleased with this as now I don't have to count my laps in my head haha

      Great to hear. If you happen to have an occasion and it would be also interesting for you You too, could you check whether it can measure HR in water (with disabled swimming mode). I am interested whether i could use it for swimming intervals if i wear it tight on my wrist.

    I had Fitbit HR a few years ago and it just got old after about 2 years and I never replaced it until recently. I worked in a machine shop where we would grind the burrs off of parts and the magnetic charger on Fitbit HR would catch small metal shavings and it would irritate my wrist. Im actually so happy they changed the charger on inspire 2, but like you said I miss the physical button. I’ll also agree this is a huge underrated fitness tracker, never been a fan of texting on a smart watch or anything like that, my Bluetooth headset can change my music so I don’t really need that in a smart watch. All that being said this is a great device

    Just got one and pretty happy, only big criticism I have was the lack of customisability - wish I could remove the 'apps' I don't use on the watch to save scrolling through a bunch of stuff I don't use (eg 'relax' and water consumption). Also the watch faces are mostly terrible, I use 'stats heavy' which is pretty good mostly but again, you can't customise what it displays. Steps/heartrate/calories/distance is all you get, why not just have an option of 5 or 6 spaces to fill on the watch with a stat for each space in the order you choose?? Most of the other 19 available watch faces have a huge time readout and 1 tiny space for a tracking stat. There are 5 watch faces with the time and a picture of a f'ing animal!...why oh why. It's a fitness tracker, give us easy access to the stats we care about

    Have your heard of people complaining about it constantly vibrating when they lift or move their arm?

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  3 роки тому +2

      Hmmm, no I haven't. I will say I have had some instances where the capacitive buttons will vibrate when my hand is bend very far backwards though, the top of my hand and top of my wrist will both activate the capacitive buttons when my hand is bent back. I also have very flexible wrists so probably not an issue for most people haha

  • @sonsons7
    @sonsons7 3 роки тому +4

    Have you had any issues with the side "buttons" constantly being triggered by your wrist movement? (fitbit inspire 2)
    I just move my hand slightly, and all of a sudden it vibrates and goes to the side button menu (dnd, sleep mode, swim lock...) It's been a huge downside, to the point that i'm debating returning it.

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  3 роки тому +3

      Hey, I am not the biggest fan of the capacitive buttons as you are right they can be triggered a bit if the wrist is in an awkward position. One thing I have done to remedy this is loosening the strap by a notch, that way the inspire tends to sit on the wrist a bit higher and is less likely to be triggered. (Also gives your skin some more breathing room over time) I would say try that out and see if it works for you too. In the case that it doesn't @2:44 I mention that the Inspire HR has a physical button so that could be a good option for you. Anyway, I hope this helps you!

    The charging cable is outrageously short and it pushes onto the back with retention clips to charge. The design doesn't is different than our other Fitbits that used a charger you clipped around the watch to charge. You have to force the charger into place and force it off the watch when done. I don't think this is going to last.

      Hi Puspita, I would say it is! Recent studies have shown simply walking and getting a good amount of steps in is good for strengthening bones, reducing high blood pressure and lowering risk for heart disease, stroke and colon cancer. The fitbit motivates and can remind someone to get up and walk as they go throughout the day, it also has a a heart rate sensor and the charge lineup is more advanced with a blood oxygen sensor. I actually purchased the Inspire 2 to upgrade from my HR because of battery life and ended up returning it. As far as the physical form of the device, I thought it would be more comfortable because it’s more rounded when compared to the HR but for some reason it doesn’t sit as well on the wrist. The band leaves an awkward gap from the wrist whereas the HR device + band forms around the wrist so much better. None of my HR bands could be used interchangeably with the 2 either. They leave a gap at the connection point and look awful. I hope that their next Inspire model keeps that brighter screen and better battery life but goes back to the form of the HR.

    • @VladimirKostek
      @VladimirKostek  3 роки тому +2

      I can see that, if the comfort of the hr was an 8 I would give the inspire 2 like a 7. My only physical complaint is the button changing, but I certainly appreciate the extra battery. Do you think you'll switch to anything else? Or sticking to your hr? Also I will be giving away an inspire 2 on the channel soon

      @@VladimirKostek I actually have tried out all the current higher end fitbit models (the charge, versa, and sense) as well as the Inspire 2 but ended up returning all. I just like the simplicity and comfort of the HR. I wear it for sleep tracking every night and found the other models too bulky for that purpose as well. Dealing with the shorter battery life isn't as bad because I don't have any notifications turned on but I do hope the next Inspire will have a different form to it. & That's awesome! Hi Sophia! Yes i did think it was, i compared it to my phone on the days that i had my phone tracking on me the whole day and there was only within a 3% variation for step counting. Activity tracking is good when you set it to that activity. I hope that helps and let me know if you have any other questions!
