Like how we were told by our officers to leave a 13 year old girl to be stoned to death because she had been caught naked with a 21 year old guy from the neighbouring village. We draged her into the APV, being pelted by stones the whole time, and told our officers that our radio was malfunctioning and then we called the Norwegian delegation instead and they had her on a flight to Norway the very next day. When we arrived at our base our officers, who we assumed would be furios by now, were like "oh we better check your radio equipment", knowing full well that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. We had so many official lists of what we were allowed to pay for a run over chicken/pig/child etc.

And there parents would push their children in front of the APC's to get run over because they knew the units were under order to never stop when on patrol to not get ambushed. I have seen a few youtubers react to Pispers Act. But every time you paused the video and rephrased what he said with your own words, I sense that you totally got the point. Those things may be old, but the kind of way America handles things remains the same, over and over. Even starting by our fellow European (and also our German, yes I am German) ancestors. The german language would have nearly been the official language of the USA. What did we proud Europeans do in America? Well... you could kindly ask american natives what they have to say to that. Beforce us they were living in the praire, after us they're all jammed up in reservoirs and many became alcoholics. So it's not only you "nowadays" Americans but also us Europeans, Germans, Belgians, Dutch... you name it. So no one is free of guilt.

I grew up in Russia in Siberia. But I've been living in Germany for 20 years. In Russia at the end of the 1930s, my great-grandparents were arrested and shot just because they were Germans. According to the count, more than 2 million Germans were killed at that time. What Russia is doing in other countries, currently in Ukraine, has always existed. I have nothing against Russians (or any other nationality) but I don't support Putin's policies or pro-war Russians.
"Why are we doing this?" Because the US has a huge weapon/military lobby. (not just the US, but it's very obvious there) Without wars, you don't need an army that big. Without an army that big you don't need as many weapons/tanks/jets/u-boats/aircraft carriers. Without the need for that many weapons, there won't be as much money poured into the weapon industry. If you want your weapon/tank factory going and make big cash by developing and selling new "war stuff" all the time - well, you need wars. And of course, it's always better not to fight within your own country. So you find somewhere else to fight. Or even better find someone who fights your wars somewhere else, so you don't lose to many of your own people and you can sell your stuff to them. Result: the people in your own country have jobs (in the military or the weapon industry), you make a lot of money selling weapons, you don't risk destroying your own country's infrastructure and you only lose a minimum of your own people. - And everyone in your own country is happy and feels like they are "the good ones". Oh, and oil, obviously.

Sadly for all non native german speakers the translation is not always the best especially because you need to know a lot about german politics that´s why the audience are laughing sometimes because the connection he makes with some politicians bad decisions and some other issues. Volker Pispers is a very intelligent person, he knows a lot about society and politics. Without the american politics the all world would be a better place !!

I would suggest you check out "Die Anstalt" after watching the fifth part, specifically a video called "Die Anstalt Terrorism in the Middle East IRAQ IRAN ISIS 23 9 2014 English subtitles" (Don't know if I can post links here without my comment being flagged). Die Anstalt was made for a channel called ZDF, a state owned program. So it has to have a certain accuracy, you can be sure to learn a lot more if you want.

The USA Overthrew the democratically elected government of a country (Ukraine) in 2014 in a violent coup (like in Chile 1974, September 11th) with the help of an al-Qaeda equivalent (C14, Right Sector, etc); put in a puppet regime chosen by them (like they did with the Shah in Iran); trained and armed to the teeth the Army and paramilitary forces to use against their own population (like they did in Central America in the 1980's) with the view of creating a proxy war (like they managed with Iraq as a proxy against Iran) against Russia (as was the case in Afghanistan in the 1980's against the Soviet Union).

On the whole medication issue: it was the same thing with the vaccine against Corona - the rich countries with amazing research ressources got to work, started producing and the countries with less advanced medical fields and less equipped laboratories and so on were left empty handed and millions of people became ill and so many had to die. I have seen a few youtubers react to Pispers Act. But every time you paused the video and rephrased what he said with your own words, I sense that you totally got the point. And I see how bewildered and shocked you are. Sometimes it is overwhelming how hurtful the truth is. But knowing our past and trying to understand each other is what hopefully help us change things.

I grew up in Russia in Siberia. But I've been living in Germany for 20 years. In Russia at the end of the 1930s, my great-grandparents were arrested and shot just because they were Germans. According to the count, more than 2 million Germans were killed at that time. What Russia is doing in other countries, currently in Ukraine, has always existed.
I have nothing against Russians (or any other nationality) but I don't support Putin's policies or pro-war Russians.

Because the US has a huge weapon/military lobby. (not just the US, but it's very obvious there)
Without wars, you don't need an army that big. Without an army that big you don't need as many weapons/tanks/jets/u-boats/aircraft carriers. Without the need for that many weapons, there won't be as much money poured into the weapon industry. If you want your weapon/tank factory going and make big cash by developing and selling new "war stuff" all the time - well, you need wars.
And of course, it's always better not to fight within your own country. So you find somewhere else to fight. Or even better find someone who fights your wars somewhere else, so you don't lose to many of your own people and you can sell your stuff to them.
Result: the people in your own country have jobs (in the military or the weapon industry), you make a lot of money selling weapons, you don't risk destroying your own country's infrastructure and you only lose a minimum of your own people. - And everyone in your own country is happy and feels like they are "the good ones".
Oh, and oil, obviously.

As long as they think they "are the good guys" and "doing the right thing" and "freeing the people over there". As you can see from the reaction videos at least these reactors knew little about the backstory. As long as they remain oblivious, yes, they should be happy with what their military is doing.
Of course, there are lots of other problems in the US (healthcare, for example -.-) but those are separate issues. well, not entirely separate, but not part of what I meant with my comment.

Sadly for all non native german speakers the translation is not always the best especially because you need to know a lot about german politics that´s why the audience are laughing sometimes because the connection he makes with some politicians bad decisions and some other issues. Volker Pispers is a very intelligent person, he knows a lot about society and politics. Without the american politics the all world would be a better place !!

I would suggest you check out "Die Anstalt" after watching the fifth part, specifically a video called "Die Anstalt Terrorism in the Middle East IRAQ IRAN ISIS 23 9 2014 English subtitles" (Don't know if I can post links here without my comment being flagged). Die Anstalt was made for a channel called ZDF, a state owned program. So it has to have a certain accuracy, you can be sure to learn a lot more if you want.

The USA Overthrew the democratically elected government of a country (Ukraine) in 2014 in a violent coup (like in Chile 1974, September 11th) with the help of an al-Qaeda equivalent (C14, Right Sector, etc); put in a puppet regime chosen by them (like they did with the Shah in Iran); trained and armed to the teeth the Army and paramilitary forces to use against their own population (like they did in Central America in the 1980's) with the view of creating a proxy war (like they managed with Iraq as a proxy against Iran) against Russia (as was the case in Afghanistan in the 1980's against the Soviet Union).

On the whole medication issue: it was the same thing with the vaccine against Corona - the rich countries with amazing research ressources got to work, started producing and the countries with less advanced medical fields and less equipped laboratories and so on were left empty handed and millions of people became ill and so many had to die.
