How to Reset Password for Your Sansco CCTV DVR?

- If you forgot your login password, you may need to reset it back to default setting.
On the login dialog, click the ? (question mark) next to the password box and send us the key code you see, we will be able to come back to you with the super password.
In some cases, where there is no ? icon on your login dialog, you may check whether this is a QR code icon, click on it and send us a photo of the QR code, we will be able to generate the super password.

or use the xmeye pro app to scan the QR code , it will show you the password on the app.

8408, when you log in the NVR with a wrong password, it will show you the message " user name or password is incorrect....", you can leave this message on the screen, then click the USB mouse left/right/left/right.... button, it will show you the message to set a new password,

you can go to the main menu>system>general and correct the time setting.
@@SanscoDirect I've corrected the clock many times... time moves faster than normal.
@@Sergiop4x if the system does not hold the time correctly, you may try:
1. Replace the internal battery inside the DVR box (on the main chipboard).
2. please shorten the Update Period under the NTP settings: by default, it is 60 min, I think you can put it on 1 min only. You may also set the NTP using Auto or Custom, see which one may be the best to maintain the time.
3. Also please try turn off the DST and set the time zone and time again?
I'm locked out of my account I never put an admin password and all of the sudden is asking me for one and I don't know it. Please help
