Re:Score 01 - Melancholia

A new project where I write new music for movie scenes. This one I've sat on for ages. I wrote "The Stars Are Out" and then discovered its coincidental fitting with the final scene from Lars von Trier's 2011 Melancholia. So whilst I didn't write this piece for the scene, it works so well (in my opinion) that its a good start to this project.

I lost my family a couple of years ago. Now I’m the only one who’s left. Since then I’ve been living in a melancholic state.I guess that is how things are. You just learn how to live with sadness all the time. If I could give sound to how my life feels it would sound like this. Just like this. You capture the feeling. Thank you
