The only skirt look i like is Jimin's in butter. And my fav crop top is the red crop top Kai wore, unfortunately he was extremely uncomfortable in it.
I feel male idols in skirts, especially half skirts, suit short and petite types best. Like Jimin, Felix and Hongjoon

i personally love low rise jeans 😫(especially when the pockets have rhinestones and etc).
I don’t have a problem either but I really find the random “CaLviN KLeiN” underwear seen above the Jeans very unnecessary. It’s not about whether it’s comfortable or not, I just find it so meaningless like why does it exist as a trend 😂??

I especially love it when male idols wear crop tops but you’re right it looks even better when they are actually comfortable wearing them cough Jungkook PTD live in Seoul, LA, Las Vegas with his dark songs outfit iykyk because you could tell he absolutely enjoyed wearing that outfit and hitting us with a truckful of serving looks. He looked fine and pretty as fuck especially because he’d look lethal while performing but then he’d act the usual cute signature Jungkook way he always does during their ARMY time segments. That outfit was absolute perfection 🤌🏽✨

I love it too, but I hate it when stylists give them off colored skirts or weirdly designed ones where it causes discomfort. I'm all for them wearing skirts, but making sure it's comfortable and cohesive with the outfit is sorta given if they're paid to be a stylist.
I love the crescent moon print 😆 especially on Seulgi in RBB and Jennie in Ddu du ddu du. But I agree with the short bangs 😬
The crescent moon print is actually from a designer brand called marine serre and i likd it back in 2018 when jennie wore it in d4 but now so many idols have worn it i also find them tacky

True! Kai wearing crop tops along with yeonjun were a cultural reset. But unfortunately Kai is uncomfy with crop top so wish the stylist didn't put him in more croptops
if you have confidence you can slay any outfit no matter how mediocre it is . But the person wearing it is uncomfortable it ends up looking awkward and weird.

Lisa was the only one wearing white and a fur jacket for the How You Like That promotions pictures and in the music video - while the 3 other members all wore jeans. Rosé was the only member not wearing black during their Lovesick Girls live performance. Jisoo once wore white while the others wore black for a music festivale in Japan. But you don't see that getting brought up all the time. Because people only see what they wanna see - the double standards when it comes to Jennie.

DUDE!!!!! I can agree with a lot of stuff (especially the overly short dresses) BUT you cannot ever make me hate men wearing crop-tops! They look HOT! It looks better than when girls wear it in my opinion (I am not referring to all girl idols by the way). But I feel sorry for those who are uncomfortable in them.

4:50 i'm so tired of people only outsingling jennie when ALL blackpink members wear outstanding outfits all the time since their stylist does NOT coordinate their outfits well for most of the time. i could tell you as many times where the other members wore a different type of outfit. sorry but i'm just sick of this getting spread around. i agree with the ugly bangs and low rise jeans though yikes haha.

I can get past the low rise jeans as long as they are wide legged and kinda give the bella hadid vibes. Low rise jeans that are straight legged/skin tight? No thank you. Also low rise skirts are the most aweful imo, they give me the 2010s low rise skirts paired with tank tops and tackiest full sleeve in shirts and print tights, yeahh I'm not a fan of that era

Personally I really like those patterned tops with the glove part attached, like for example when Ryujin wore hers during her aotm or when winter wore them for step back, but those beige ones that nmixx wore were just not it. The colour really didn’t suit the girls nor compliment the way the look which is what stage or just normal outfits in general should do. But they slayed the ones that wore at 1:56
ALSO I HATE when queer guys have been doing crop tops and skirts for years they get called BAD STUFF and when straight male does it its suddenly revolutionary

@@youarelovedandadored5931 I don't think they meant this just in the case of idols, but in general. Also even if some the male idols that have worn skirts aren't straight, they still are being percieved as such (and just to make it clear, I don't think that's a good thing).

the moon monogram is by a brand called Marine Serre(by Marine Serre). Very beautiful pieces with each collection she releases, which is the main reason why I'm bummed out when idols only wear the second skin moon tops.
I don't agree with you on everything, but I certainly am against these short ass dresses. In recent years, I've seen more and more dresses that are so short that the safety shorts underneath are just hanging out in the open... Aren't they supposed to be there just in case, and not be part of the outfit? It also just looks ugly and is probably uncomfortable for the idols 😅
I feel like some of you guys are missing the point with the skirt/crop top thing. They aren’t saying that that men can’t wear these, they’re saying that the outfits they’ve seen don’t align with their taste. And honestly, as a guy who does wear skirts, I think most of the time I’ve seen this, it’s sorta boring.
Hope you gonna mention crop cuts for male idols I don't like it cos it's used to s3xualise them most of time...it could make idols uncomfortable not just crop cuts but whatever would show waist or chest.. I also don't see it as fashionable nor pretty and it's just my opinion (it's fine if idols like to wear it and it's not force but I still don't prefer it)
I think there companies make them waer it intentionally so to gather more female fans its for companies its kind of business for them and mostly if u look at some female fans they won't praise them fir talent but would rather comment on there hotness

The Ryujin example you used are also shorts too but some people in SK call them “hot pants”, I only remember this cause when A.C.E debuted it became a thing that people noticed they almost always wore those shorts for every stage

ikr I totally agree with all of your opinions- especially those chopped off bangs, recently ryujin also has those bangs and I don’t like it much, only in a few styles, overall 0. and Lia’s chewed off bangs- do I even need to explain?

I dunno if I’d use Itzy as a example of great style, until recently in the past year and a half, Lia had the worst outfits. Like they gave her things way too big for her or in Loco’s case, gave her an outfit that didn’t match the group. Her purple and yellow flannel outfit is cute, but really stands out against the jean and mismatched fabric looks. And then Yeji and Yuna got some ugly oversized skirt and dress. I think MITM and Voltage had their best looks to date, especially since Lia got outfits that fit her and looked good. I do like when they do odd outfits, just not cohesively. Like make them all look like they are in the same group.
Also, can we give Rosé clothing that fits her body type. They love short skirts and tank tops for her, but never give her long pants and tops they fit over her shoulders. Her and Lisa have the same type of frame and it’d be so cool to see her in something that works with her body (though I like some of the short skirt looks).
I also think Red Velvet had great style (even Wendy in Zimzalabim, with the bag, the moon under shirt, and leggings; I know it’s a silly outfit, but it looks so good on her and fit the song pretty well).
Low rise jeans and skirts are gonna be the downfall of society jk but seriously can't stand the trend either
