I was 14 when this movie released and I am almost 36 now. The vocals, music and the picturization are a winning combination and Dil Chahta Hai deserved every bit of success that it received at the Box office. I always wished that I could be as carefree as these guys.

What happened to Rohit after Shalini decided not to marry him and let him go?? Did he move on with his life and find someone else?? What happened to Akash, Sameer, and Siddharth's parents?? Did they pass away? Would Akash, Sameer, and Siddharth still be friends today? Well, people are saying Dil Chahta Hai will never receive a sequel?? But I still believe and say, never say never. I feel the era of this movie is the best. Technology was there but it wasn't too backward nor advanced as it is now. I feel the time was best connected with life. There was mobile phones then but it had limitations. But did it create a problem in our day to day activities...no. The later 90s and earlier 20s were good times. but of course it's dependent on one's perception. The current generation may not agree with this.
