Lol no one's gonna care after a decade or two. People only care about the result not about the process. Fine, it could result in worsening of your mental health in short term but you won't care until you turn adult because reality starts hitting you when you are 16 and the phase of transitioning from teenager to adult is also difficult to deal with. You will have a sudden increase in stress, if you are a science student, especially if you are preparing for JEE, you will have existential crisis, will feel depressed but you will come out as a person who don't give a f about others' opinions. If you ask questions, that's gonna clear your doubts , increase your understanding of the concepts which will benefit you a lot in the long term. Think in decades. You will also realise that the toppers of the class are smarter than the backbenchers, you will notice a clear difference in their intelligence after 2 years because the topper's logic is pretty developed as he solved many questions while the backbenchers could act stupid sometimes.

When you have desire to question and increase your knowledge, your intelligence will go in ascending order. if your desire increases for some products just to satisfy your extravagant needs cropping out of unnecessary comparisons your intelligence will go in descending order.
