@@musangaichi Give me a bit. I'm actually playing Genshin right now. Plus these songs are poetic Swahili for recitations. I speak every day Swahili, so I'll have to sit and work on that. It's important to remember that when you translate poetry or lyrics from ANY language that you can't do a literal word for word translation. This makes transitions of epic literature, like say the Iliad, REALLY hard. I also speak French and German and I love listening to music from those countries. However ENGLISH translations of the same song often make no sense per se. Like the classic "La Mer" by Charles Trenet. The English version "Beyond the Sea" is COMPLETELY different! Also one of my favorite German singers is Katja Ebstein. Her song "Fluchtwege" is the German version of Dionne Warwick's "Heartbreaker." But they're completely different. My favorite singer is Alizée. She sings "J'en ai marre" in BOTH French and English. (She sang it in English on German TV for some weird reason.) Both songs are COMPLETELY different. Don't feel bad! Also there's one song from Natlan floating around on UA-cam and I can't hear it. The cut is, well lousy and it wasn't in the concert. I'm pushing 70 years old and my hearing isn't so good anymore. But I'll see what I can do here. But give me a bit.
@@musangaichi That's the Natlan battle theme 2 I think? The sound quality on that one is really bad. I was hoping they'd do a better version of that one. That's the one where some people thought was a West African language called Yoruba. I don't speak Yoruba and have never been to West Africa. I'm pretty sure this IS Swahili and not Yoruba because the start sure sounds like washa moto or "light a fire" to me. It sounds like they're trying to make it imperative like "Light a fire!"
Unfortunately the sound quality and my hearing are such that I really can't make out anymore of the lyrics at all. But it's important to remember that even in the interlinear translations of the songs in the concert those aren't word for word. They leave some Swahili words out and substitute an English word instead which will emphasize an emotion which the Swahili word implies. I'd love to give you some examples but my wife is asking me to take her shopping! Happy Wife is a Happy Life! But if you were able to make out that many words from that poor of a quality of an audio cut you're doing GREAT! Translating music lyrics is REALLY hard no matter what language you're working with, so keep it up. If you think you've got a line down you could always send it to me. In closing I haven't spoken much Swahili since I was a kid (mtoto.) I'm actually not an African but a muzungu. I learned it when my family lived there. A Kikuyu friend named David Nyamo taught it to me. I became a military linguist when I got older but at that time the Africa command didn't exist so I was taught German. I already spoke French and Spanish and Swahili because of the different places I grew up (we were a military family) so the military got a real bargain when they made me a linguist lol! And no I don't speak Russian. If I was younger they'd put me in the African command for sure these days since French and Spanish are also big pluses depending upon which part of Africa you're in. We were in Kenya. But I've also been to Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Egypt. I speak no Amharic, or Arabic. And no I didn't like Ethiopia, Egypt or Eritrea at all!!!
I thought i was the only one who thought that Natlan feels a little bit like Monster hunter but Arena kinds glad im not wrong (now i realised it feels like Mon hunter Stories,)

THIS IS INSANE??! WTF???
I just know where to find the surface Pyroculi just by looking at this landscape
1st part is like Monster Hunter ost I like it I'm addicted to this battle theme specifically my god
I thought i was the only one who thought that Natlan feels a little bit like Monster hunter but Arena kinds
glad im not wrong
(now i realised it feels like Mon hunter Stories,)
a mix of monster hunter vibes for the orchestral sections and lion king when the native choir chants + world instruments come in, Yu Peng Chen is a GENIUS

There's this Seregios looking wyvern in Natlan that fights like Grimclaw Trigrex. Monster hunter has more expies than Honkai!!
@@tiradeee Unfortunately, Yu-Peng Chen has left the hoyo team, but there are definitely still a reliable amazing team of composers to take on the job of the genshin soundtrack
@@tiradeeeHes "coming back" as in coming back to release music on his own as an independent composer. Unfortunately hes not working with genshin anymore but that doesnt stop the possibility of a collab someday later. We have lots of bangers composers now tho! Dimeng yuan, ziyu che n stuffs, its all good.
nah 3:05 is what really hits
The solos are the best part of this song ngl
Bravo! 👏 The power of Music is solely enough for me to make me stay inlove and invest over a game, sadly the other game I like despite having "Sound themed lore" didn't catch the memo. They do shine in other aspects but music is the main factor.
ITS SO GOOD PRAISE HOYO MIX!!
3:25 this part is pure hype
Hoyomix: And this is not even my final form. 😎
My favorite battle theme all time from Genshin 🔥🔥
2:39 is beautiful
I will hunt enemies daily just to listen to this banger while playing 🔥
That ending feels like hard won fight with the entire clan celebrating your victory.
1:00 Por favor esto suena increíble, necesito mas de ellas!!!!!!
Angry birds Rio vibe 🎉
lmao same thought
because they are also inspired by ancient American/African music
Literally what I was thinking lol
Finally a battle theme to match sumeru battle theme
siinging is seriously beautiful
BEST BATTLE OST NO ONE CAN CHANGE MY MIND
it's so good.
3:25 OKAY THIS IS BEAUTIFUL-
The ending is so powerful..
It’s good but the thing is all the enemies will be dead before I get to hear the best part of this song which is a shame
don't underestimate natlan enemies 😠 ( joke)
Simple, walk around and avoid them. This way you enjoy the battle theme the first time you hear it in the game.
@@MXUKrazyDave and fighting with level 20 high hp characters
💯 shame how easy this game is
@@amberxv4777 world level increase will come ( world level 9)
Me encanta que el palo de lluvia es el instrumento que inicia con el tema ✨👌
1:02 whoa! 😮
best combat theme in the game period.
Immediately fell in love with this masterpiece when I heard it in the teaser, first part sounds like Crash Bandicoot but then it becomes even better now that I fully listened
this is my favorite battle theme in Natlan. Really get's me into the mood.
the singing really fits well in fighting the bosses.
It's like, think of every lava or volcano themed level in every platformer you played, and mix them together perfectly
This is the best bgm of Natlan!
1:00 yes I like this part.
The vocal is so good and the flute (sorry I don't know its name) at 1:33 is making the whole track at different level.
Gives me Baba Yetu vibes tbh, and that is a big compliment.
it clearly isn't
1:00 my favorite part!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Yes, that's also my favourite part when the melody of vocals start till the end of the verse.
time to find someone who actually speaks Yoruba
Wait... It was Yoruba?! Sounds like the type of choir do you usually hear in the Nathional Anthems here in Southamerica. Sweet combination 😍😍
over 100million players if we don’t find someone to translate i’ll cry
This isn't yoruba
@@chigo999 Without knowing the language I tried to decifer the lyrics, google translate gave me a hint it's swahili. I know GT is not a reliable thing but htis is the only way for me to have my guess. it recognized 'ziwa jeziwa keangali' as 'the lake is still full'. one of the things I decifered immediately.
Are you a Yoruba speaker or learner?
@@musangaichi yeah It definitely sounds like swahili. No I don't speak yoruba I'm from one of the other tribes in nigeria(igbo) but I know what yoruba sounds like
Yooo thats awesome.
Mihoyo is really a music company that happens to also do games haha
This is definitely Swahili cause I speak a bit of the language most words I hear I can understand them
歌詞を知りたいです

I love this battle theme so much
I'm totaly obsessed with this one, I can't stop listening at it !
Someone need to translate the lyrics
What a banger of an OST!
Dictation and Google Translate Swahili

nawasowa niwuegu
(I need them to kill me)
uatati tokesa amani
(You will disturb the peace)
namoto utakuambia x3

I am sad that battle in this game is too short for great themes. Longest battle is abyss but I don't like that theme.
atleast we'll hear it a little more in domains
Use your level 1 chars then for longer battles lol
Use Zhongli meaty shield and just stand there
Fight some local legends
they will increase world level next patch
wow i started playing genshin again after a while and i was astonished when i heard this, so beautiful
reminds me of Yuki Kajiura's music as well
YES!!! I'm so glad this this is actually a battle theme! This one is 100% my favourite, because it starts quickly)) Do we know if it's a boss theme or just a battle theme?
i think this one is battle theme
Now i know why i love this music
Big *Crash Bandicoot* vibes
brooooooooo thats peakk
I love this song, it feels like Crash Bandicoot.
1:33 so good❤❤❤❤
The Andean Flute 🔥
I feel like this is more of a victory parade then a battle theme. Either way, heavenly tune! Hoyo doesnt miss.
2:34 this is epic
Natlan will be available really soon , let's goooooo 🎉
Try listening in 1.25x it becomes a whole different song
0:19 pof leimotif
seems that they continued the trend of including the leitmotif in all 3 tracks since fontaine :>
(it actually starts off here 0:09)
2:38
2:34 translation:
Take me, ashes and agates,
Crossing the Sea of Quanta,
Implode shiny on the battlefield
The first born of the sun must be sacrificed.
Fatui will emerge from the underworld in pieces,
Salvator reigned in our tribes
Salvator reigned in our tribes
Descend your fleet again and come to guide
Anger!
Anger!
SEA OF QUANTA???
I am begging you on my knees to drop us a transcript of the Swahili if this is legit
@@darthrevan1225 i saw this from a youtube video and it was already translated in english, so i ain’t gonna take credit for this translation. idk about the swahili
@@valeball6690 Got a link for that one? Surely the poster had to have written it down somewhere
Sorry to ruin the fun but this was not translated from swahili, it was translated from yoruba, spanish smth (before 5.0 livestream where we learnt the songs are in swahili)
I wish they could extend 1:02 more. It's my favorite part of the song, and I always prolong my fights when I hear it playing lol.
It gives me same vibes when I heard the vocals in ff xiv shadowbringers when they suddenly add vocal into the battle music lol.
let's hope there is an extended version (with more vocals) of this theme when they release the OST.
Quiero que alguien escriba la letra o seguiré cantando ah diraña gedeñe otona ibamus tawata otona ibamus tawada ah isowa dabi duremu
