Dimash loves to create stories! Maybe listen again to his message, I find it incredibly empowering feeling, it's my new favorite Dimash song. He makes you use your imagine...what's happening, who's that? Then the clincher at the end is hilarious! How he plays with his voice, he had everyone rocking out, movin', groovin'!
His pop songs aren't my favourites either, but I enjoyed this video because it's funny! From the teaser I thought it would be all "action movie". I was expecting to not like it, but I was pleasantly surprised! I see it as a parody really! With some of Dimash's songs that don't really strike my fancy, I find that after I watch a bunch of reactions to them and hear them over and over, I come to like them more. Of coarse he can do so much more, but I guess right now he wants to experiment with a "normal" pop song and see how he can tweak it. 🇨🇦

BINGO...attracts another audience...American music has hit bottom...so not surprised he's reaching out...He is of course on a mission in case some haven't noticed...Dears know what's up...Smooth Dimash..hehe
Plus, compare this with any other music by other artists that would be approximately in the same vein - it's absolutely superior! This, When I've Got You & Be With Me are examples of pop & pop videos done in a totally unique and superior way.
I think Dimash will continue to change genres, combine genres, and experiment with music. I respect your opinion. Everyone has different tastes. I have never liked every song on an album, but I still appreciate the artist and enjoy the songs that I do like. I'm sure he'll put out new music that will move you. I hope you don't give up on him. Thanks so much for your honest reaction!!! ✌️❤️
Agent Dimash, the only agent with a license to sing. 😎🎤🎵🎶 I like his sense of humor. 😍😎🤩🔥 I liked it from the beginning. But with each subsequent viewing, I noticed more details and liked it even more... now I LOVE this MV. ❤🔥😂😎🤩 Annnd the song itself is awesome….👏💃🕺🏻😊

💗 Hi Joel, you don't have to like everything, I honestly don't mind. And you've done a lot for Dimash, introducing your friends to the songs you like. Keep on being you! Love ya man.
Daididau you will enjoy. Since it is his native Kazakh, it has deep meaning and it shows. When he did the song in New York it was the highlight of the evening for me.
Thank you. 😂😂 I'm entertained when your head start move along with the music, even tough at the end you still don't like it. That's how I know you really listen the song to giving your honest opinion.
These last two songs were created in LA with the help of various people from over there! Perhaps Dimash should avoid the US influence altogether? I really enjoyed this song but the video doesn't do much for me. My favourite Dimash is Kazakh Dimash but I am happy for him to try anything he likes!
Dimash is not just anyone, he is a global goodwill ambassador. He should not shy away from a different culture, and delving into American jazz and pop traditions with his inherited respect and insight for foreign cultural heritage is part of being an ambassador. I love Dimash for his brave effort to embrace the different sides of this culture and create his own interpretation in his own brilliant way.
Had to giggle at the faces you were making through this whole video. Not your thing. Maybe it's your background that makes you want to box Dimash in. I am absolutely loving his experiments with video.

@@gdouglas999The idea that Dimash could come into the home of a hardcore drug lord in a pink suit, jump up on their table, charm his kids, start making out with his wife, push his head down like he's an obedient dog, grab his cell phone and then by the sheer siren-like quality of his voice and the groove of the song, distract all these hardcore gangsters by getting them into the groove and enchanting them with his voice. And the last scene makes it all clear that this was just all comedy & fun. It's Dimash's sense of humor! And I think he's also kind of showing his disdain for drug people and gangsters. As I said in another reply I think it was also to you, dimash has always had pop songs. But there is genius in them. For instance, when Dimash goes to the highest harmony, the bubbling synth sound & the way it goes with his vocal. The weird pulsating bass. The way the background vocals combined with those other elements at the end. Pop genius. Don't worry, there will be more El Amor en Ti's, Stranger's, Olympico's, Story of One Sky's....Dimash is doing exactly what he wants, he's experimenting with different styles as usual. Why does everyone want to put him in the box of their favorites? I love the variety and I love the latest two songs.
@@FretsOnFire Good explanation, thank you. I get it. But living in the US I have come to be so put off by drugs and guns that even attempts to invoke humor around them fails to resonate with me. I most liked the song when it was first performed live, and I definitely preferred the performance video to this one. Reminds me too much of the dark elements of the "Golden" MV which has turned out to be one of his least popular efforts ever.
Yeah, I hate guns and violence too! I see where you you're coming from but I guess I'm more desensitized to violence in films, while still abhoring it in real life for me, there are way too many great movies that include violence, as it is unfortunately a part of life. I like this song and video better than Golden, they're both simple pop songs, but I think Smoke has the more clever musical elements and is catchIer. I just don't want to criticize dimash too much, because he does so many varied things, he's not going to stay on one thing anyway. And there is a syndrome I've observed with genius artists: the fans will have ridiculously high standards, set by the artist's incredible, way above the norm achievements. But then slowly what happens is that fans start to have favorite songs, performances, etc, and it seems there is a tendency at this point to start to not appreciate other songs and performances that may be equally great, but not one of one's personal favorites. I've heard people say "this one is okay, but the other one blows it away", which can have the effect of devaluing the other performances. Then they start to discount performances that aren't their favorites, as if they're worthless - these songs are great, but these songs are crap. I would submit that my least liked Dimash song is still not crap, because it is still far superior to other artists who are trying to do a similar genre to whatever Dimash's song is. To me, Fly Away is even simpler and lacks a strong melody compared to the last two songs. But as far as I'm concerned, it's way greater than anything other pop artists are doing, it's still phenomenal. Then after that, fans will start to nitpick and criticize a song they don't like as much. When other fans who love the song start to argue with them, they will dig their heels in and start to criticize their favorite artist more. I've seen this turn into a sort of crusade against their formerly favorite artist. With someone as diverse as dimash, for my part I don't get hung up on this or that performance, as long as the brilliance continues. I just fully support the artist and don't argue about favorites, or ones I don't like as much.
All the politics and derectives here aside: If someone is in desperate need of an exclusively classical singer, politically or patriotically engaged popera singer or whatever, one should try and find one for himself. To glue Dimash to someone's specific needs! Can you imagine this?! Smoke is not an American-born pop song! Of course not. Did Dimash ever pretend it to be? Of course not. Do Americans want to see themselves through the eyes of a Kazakh and his fine sense of humor? Even if it's set in the Pink Panther era? Some apparently don't. They strangely think this is within the power of only American producers. Yet Afanassieff has a lot of fun playing the role of the thugs' boss in the mv. And yes, the song is brilliant in music and performance, and the mv is funny, well composed and edited, with a spicy pink-panther (the ringtone for those who think the pink suit isn't revealing enough😁) - agent DQ twist. The Kazakh element is also present, embedded in the dombra riffs.
I think it's totally fine if you don't like the song or the video. You just don't have to take it so seriously. It's a funny video. Dimash loves to experiment and tries a lot of different things. I think the bad guys are so awkward on purpose. Just look at the face of the drug dealer in this house. None of them act like a real drug dealer. Agend DQ had a lot of fun shooting it. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️
I prefer the performance video, even though I like the premise of this. This was missing some real dancing or a fight scene. 😅 But I disagree on the song. The song isn’t simple at all. There are so many different sounds in this and he is even playing a dombra in a funky way! Perfectly produced that one. ❤ And I love it more and more each day. 🥰 You have a right to dislike a song. That’s ok. You were respectful. 😊 I personally only get angry when someone says something mean spirited or ridiculously wrong! Then I‘ll join the mob. 😅😂
I came to hear what I wanted to hear. This wasn't really my cuppa tea either (neither song nor video) and I kinda predicted you'd try to like it but fail. And sure enough... I'd have been cool either way. Upvoted, see ya later. 🙏
Thank you! I agree! "I don't like the direction these songs are going." That says it all for me as well. Dimash is my favorite singer and performer of all time, but he is capable of so much more than this.
They are trying to transform Dimash in some kind of pop singer with special abilities. I’m not totally against this choice but I understand he can do much better. These kind of songs, however, give him the opportunity to relax and have fun during 3 hours of concert. We cannot always aspects songs like Samaltau, SoS or Story of one sky from him, he is totally legitimate to try a way to be more pop and easy. I still recognise his talent as song writer because this song is easy, catchy, maybe repetitive but the fact he is still using traditional instruments, the dombra in this case, for a pop song put him in a superior position compared to any other pop band or pop singer who try to get the consensus from the public with minimal effort and no imagination.
He worked with them on his own choice and volition. The music is his, the idea is his and a lot more of the work done on these videos is also his. Afanassieff said it, Gordon said it, the lyricist said, the directors said it. Their interviews are in the public domain. Dimash is truly an independent artist with his own production company behind him. Nobody, let alone "they"?!, is there "to try to transform him." Afanassieff has such fun acting as the thugs' boss though and I love his white socks😊
@@irenevassileva5586 Thanks for that input. If that's the case then it is clear that anyone who has issues with these songs has issues only with Dimash, not with Los Angeles producers (for a change!)
I do like the song-love the rhythm and the “heat” of it, but this video feels pretty off brand for Dimash. He comes across as such a peacenik that I didn’t expect all the guns. Plus I just prefer seeing musicians do their thing. Videos that use actors and tell stories that have little to do with the music or the artist won’t do it for me. Give me a good in-concert video , even if the acoustics aren’t perfect, I’m going to love it. I also really liked the “performance” video that was released as a teaser because the dance complemented the lyrics.
Thank you! I am also turned off by the guns. Doesn't matter that it was parody, guns are a negative influence in a world that Dimash is attempting to make more positive and peaceful. I also liked the performance video better.
I read a few comments before watching because I had a suspicion you weren't going to be positive about it and I'm sorry to say what I read confirmed that suspicion. I am noticing that your opinions, which you are fully free to express, lean heavily against the very songs Dimash performs which could easily put him on the airwaves in the US. I wonder why that is.🤔 Anyway, I will pass on this one and see what you might do next time, thank you.
To each his own. I guess I don't know why we'd care what washed up musicians think about the best vocalist in the history of the world. But, hey, it looks like your 32-some-odd-subscribers do. So, peace.
His subscribers value his honest opinion. There are plenty of reactors that would say they loved everything he's ever done, just to get views, so maybe go elsewhere

I am totally cool that you didn't like either song. I TOTALLY AGREE with you. He is trying to hit a certain audience... somebody is steering him the WEONG WAY, I believe. How somebody can go from STORY OF ONE SKY, AVE MARIA, STRANGER... to this crap. His new Ukrainian Producer needs to be dumped.

Agent DQ was asked to help catch a drug gang by delaying them long enough for the police to arrive. He did it by telephoning them and singing, they were so busy listening to him that they were entranced and waited too long. I thought it was a fun idea.
People bashing America. Dimash’s pop songs aren’t born here. This song and mv could be from anywhere. It’s not his best. I’m sure he’s so proud of it, but too much experimentation without an overall focus can make one steer off track. I personally think the world is lacking an outrageously talented modern and pop opera artist. Josh groan enough. Sarah Brightman done! Bring on Dinah to rule it all! Songs like this aren’t that great. He has so much more in him, he just needs to focus more on what he’s brilliant with.
Or, he does exactly what he wants! Show me another singer who could sing this song like Dimash does! 😂 He is a musical genius and I love his humor and variety of songs. Give him a break! He's only 30, for God's sake!
@@marieforsberg565 I agree - I want him to do popera, but I definitely do not want him to limit himself to that! He has a lot more in him besides that style! I love the song too, and I find myself moving and grooving every time I hear it, just like the gangsters in the video. I'm somewhat at a loss as to why so many people dislike this one. I hear genius, as usual. Not just in his vocals but in the arrangement of the song, etc. It appears to be simple, but it's deceptive. And as you said, Dimash is experimenting, not changing styles.✌️😎👍
I don’t like this genre of music all, even by Dimash. Compared with the sophistication of his previous song (which I loved) and the bag of vocal tricks he brought to it, I think this is a bit lazy of Dimash.
O mesmo tipo? Não sabes o que diz! Cada clipe do Dimash é único. O que tem igual em "Golden", "Be With Me", "Okay", "The Story Of One Sky", I've Got You", "Smoke" ? 🤔😏
So, I TOTALLY disagree with you on your last video reaction....TOTALLY, but this one took me a min to love the song....but ONLY because of the performance video. I'm not digging this video.

Yes please be honest always, and this is the reason of good reactions, thank you
I think Dimash will continue to change genres, combine genres, and experiment with music.
I like his sense of humor. 😍😎🤩🔥
I liked it from the beginning. But with each subsequent viewing, I noticed more details and liked it even more... now I LOVE this MV. ❤🔥😂😎🤩
Annnd the song itself is awesome….👏💃🕺🏻😊

Each to their own I guess. I wasn’t sure about the song the first time I heard it but it’s one that grows on you.
We can't all like the same things and i appreciate your honesty. Most reactors I'm sure would lie if they disliked a particular song . Thanks Joel and if they start in the comment section, just ignore them. ✨️
Agree with you even though I adore Dimash
Thank you, I value your honesty and bravery... and I know how much you usually appreciate Dimash.
his talent is not just restricted to an exceptional singing voice!
Brilliant!! Bravo Dimash!!!
Again as always i repeat the same thing..Please respect Dimash and his work..When you use the videos of Dimash in his channel that are his work you have to recognize the credit and put in description the link of the original video and or the link of the Dimash's channel..If you don't do this very important thing you disrespect Dimash and his work..Thanks..But if you continue in this your bad and wrong behavior about Dimash and his work i absolutely report you for right reasons so you receive the strikes that you deserve..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever
Yes Dimash is a great instrumentalist and he played the dombra in this one.
💗 Hi Joel, you don't have to like everything, I honestly don't mind. And you've done a lot for Dimash, introducing your friends to the songs you like. Keep on being you! Love ya man.
This song is for FUN and it doesn't mean that he goes in this direction. Maybe You should simply smile sometimes...☺️😁
Daididau you will enjoy. Since it is his native Kazakh, it has deep meaning and it shows. When he did the song in New York it was the highlight of the evening for me.
Thank you. 😂😂
I'm entertained when your head start move along with the music, even tough at the end you still don't like it. That's how I know you really listen the song to giving your honest opinion.
I agree wholeheartedly. Hopefully he comes back soon.
Me too! I hope he will never stop!
Don't worry man. There are tons of good songs to react. But please Don't give up him ever please💐🫂🇧🇷🇧🇷
The ones I do like. I REALLY like! He has some amazing tracks amongst his catalog for sure.
But what were you expecting, drug use, nudity, gunshots, bloodshed?... This is refined, exquisite art and unfortunately it's not for everyone and not everyone understands it or has the intelligence or the highest enough level of artistic sensitivity to perceive it. The video ended in a very funny way, when he said "easy" I burst out laughing. In my opinion this MV was very fun. He's not a bad guy at all, but rather a secret agent. He was the hero who saved the day after hexing the thugs with just his magical voice. The idea was great, the video is super original, her vocal performance, as always: supreme.@@liudadears2869

@@bekydelacaridadtoledogutie1839 Yes! You understand. Unfortunately many people don't get it...
I love this Mv is catchy and funny it's defrent said of Dimash i like it
In what way is it funny?
Well said! 👍🙏@@FretsOnFire
I really liked it but completely respect your opinion l, I think you will really like Daididau 👍
All the politics and derectives here aside:
If someone is in desperate need of an exclusively classical singer, politically or patriotically engaged popera singer or whatever, one should try and find one for himself.
Love love love this❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great! Thanks! Grande Dimash!
How did I know you wouldn't like this? 🤔
If he doesn't like it I won't bother watching him on this one.😅
It’s a given!! 🤣🤣
If he didn't like Dimash, he wouldn't promote him to his friends. Would you prefer him to lie and do a fake reaction?@@CasaHard-vf3lz
But I disagree on the song. The song isn’t simple at all. There are so many different sounds in this and he is even playing a dombra in a funky way!
Perfectly produced that one. ❤ And I love it more and more each day. 🥰
You have a right to dislike a song. That’s ok. You were respectful. 😊
I personally only get angry when someone says something mean spirited or ridiculously wrong! Then I‘ll join the mob. 😅😂
I'm glad some people "get it", Ella! Bravo!

Hello, I think you didn't understand him. He is a secret agent with a mission, for two minutes to distract the drug traffickers. The singing 😂
I'm so glad that some people get it! Bravo!😘
Love it
I came to hear what I wanted to hear. This wasn't really my cuppa tea either (neither song nor video) and I kinda predicted you'd try to like it but fail. And sure enough... I'd have been cool either way. Upvoted, see ya later. 🙏

I didn't like the the song at first, but the mv is funny. Let the guy have fun.
Thank you! I agree! "I don't like the direction these songs are going." That says it all for me as well. Dimash is my favorite singer and performer of all time, but he is capable of so much more than this.
But who else can do this? Dimash always had pop songs, he's not changing direction.
Who is THEY? He owns his production company.
@@kellibuzzard9431 you right actually.
@@kellibuzzard9431 Apparently the last two songs were mostly created when he was working with the Los Angeles producers.
I like this song less than When I've Got You but I think this song is as good as it could have been
I do like the song-love the rhythm and the “heat” of it, but this video feels pretty off brand for Dimash.
This is the first time i wasnt a fan of his song either....but ill grant him one booboo
I agree with you on this!! I don’t like it either. However, I did like his last one.
No me extraña que no te guste !! Uffff
So, peace.

Agent DQ was asked to help catch a drug gang by delaying them long enough for the police to arrive. He did it by telephoning them and singing, they were so busy listening to him that they were entranced and waited too long. I thought it was a fun idea.
Bueno... 🤷🏼♀️
He is a musical genius and I love his humor and variety of songs.
Yeah my least favorite
Cringe
I don’t like this genre of music all, even by Dimash. Compared with the sophistication of his previous song (which I loved) and the bag of vocal tricks he brought to it, I think this is a bit lazy of Dimash.
Your 'comment' is 'not-good', too, 'trolll'. 🤡
O mesmo tipo? Não sabes o que diz! Cada clipe do Dimash é único. O que tem igual em "Golden", "Be With Me", "Okay", "The Story Of One Sky", I've Got You", "Smoke" ? 🤔😏
