Don't forget to comment!
Background music from "Where the Hell is Matt" : "PRAAN" Composed by Gary Schyman and Vocals by Palbasha Siddique
This video , made by the Eastern Technology Music Society (ETMS) premiered at their annual Spring Fest production at IIT Kharagpur. The video was made over a period of 3 days and was shown for the first time with ETMS performing "Praan" live.
First of all...Thanks Matt Harding for the genesis of the idea...
This is probably the best IIT Kharagpur video ever! To do something of this scale must have involved some real sweat...well done all the dancers, the cameramen and the editors...
But something struck me after coming out of the premiere of this at Netaji Auditorium...Surd (Sarabjeet Singh) just became immortal!
The surge of emotions after watching this video cannot be put in words. Pure Nostalgia.
OMG, Lallu, BC Roy, Cheddi's, Tikka's seems like yesterday after 35 years. Flooded with nostalgia.
Wow.... Love this one.. almost moved me to tears. I miss the good old days.
I big hello to all you guys in KGP.
Take it from me - You will never have better days.
Looking back to KGP after a span of 26 years- just amazing experience! Memories flood in for all known areas of IIT-KGP, although there have many new additions. Life flows on....musical composition is really superb- KGP-ka tempo high hai! ...85 Chemical Engg/RK/ Perth, Western Australia
I still remember this song! I was in IIT KGP for just two months for an internship. I used to play this song on youtube at night while doing lab. Fast forward 12 years I am at Harvard now. Thank you! This was one of the first YT video I remember from past. It even covered all campus points. Will be in memories forever. Hope everyone is happy and healthy. I still miss veggies eggies and boudi r hotel.
Where is ET Lab (1st year) - The Old one.... Where Shoes are Mandatory and copies gets flying....

Having been out of KGP for 10 years, that was a beautiful trip down memory lane. I must say I'm seeing great improvements in the infrastructure and facilities, not to mention the quality of women :).

English Intrepretation (by Matt Harding)
Stream of Life
by Rabindranath Tagore
The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.
It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.
It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.

Awesome, for a guy who graduated in '76, this was an great watch. If it is thanks to Matt then 2 x thanks to the author. So many new halls, so much more fun. Defntly qlty of females is way better than say 1 in 10000 iitians we had. Why was the Naval Arch dept missed and wave making tank? would have looked great perhaps with a ship model bobbing up n down.
