  • On May 8, 2022, I lost my Dad, and the pain is still raw. In this heartfelt video, I open up about my profound sense of loss and share my journal entry from that day. Grief is messy and deeply personal, but I believe in keeping it real. By sharing my journey, I hope to connect with others who are going through similar experiences. Dad, I miss you every day.

There are no words that can comfort this kind of loss. Just remember your parents are waiting for you, loving you and Cayden. I am lifting prayers for you to find comfort. Your world is darker now without him but you will get past the worst. Remember the happy times.

Hey Daryl, thank you for making the decision to share this painful and very personal moment. There's no doubt in my mind that, by doing so, others who have experienced loss of a loved one will find strength in coping with their pain and in the message about life and love you related so eloquently. I can say this because, in a little over two weeks, it will be one year since my own dad passed away and seeing this has done that for me. So, again, thanks for sharing.

If I could tell you that for the next year at least you wont wake up and feel like your heart is being ripped into millions of pieces without lying I would. I have experienced this and I pray you are comforted by the memories you have with your Dad. Life is complex to say the least. Each moment is a gift. Remember he created you with his seed. He lives inside of you forever. You will hear him speaking to you soon when you find some stillness within.

This was raw, and heartfelt. I know this was a powerful loss for your family. Hugs to Cayden. Your Dad must have been very proud of you all. My Dad also had heart and diabetic issues, and he passed unexpectedly. I had to take care of everything, and I know it is hard when you are trying to cope with the loss. The service you all gave for your father was beautiful. I can tell he was an amazing man, well loved by his family and friends. It takes a special calling to do the work he did. Much respect 💙🙏

Thoughts and prayers are with you. There will come a time when all those happy memories will overcome all the struggles you saw your dad go threw. I'm getting there, but still after a year, it is a struggle at times. Just remember to take good care of yourself. Bruce and Otis
