Hi thanks for the video. I have one and got it in the UK had it for many years it is now in Spain at the moment. I am in the UK at the moment. Got it not working bad audio chip could not get another chip for it so had to put in another amp. It works fine now. I agree about the vfo ! I made a digital output dial thing works fine. The output I got with the original transistors is over 125 watts don't use that much!! I really like it worth getting.
sadly not that power in its current state..the PA mods made years before it came to me mean its QRP now. The PA board has had too much done to it. New PA, driver and associated parts required..pity, Steve
Just bought one on EBay, a great little radio with an excellent receiver.
As an on board transceiver... excellent. Would make a great mobile/portable rig too of course. Love the simplicity. Great video Steve. Phil G8BHB

I just bought one cheap off ebay, don't expect it to work but plan on just cleaning it up and display it as a made in the USA rarity.
Great little rig ,150w pep will turn it on before the IC-7300 and have more fun
