- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a game that give the player so many options for exploration, combat, puzzle solving, and basically whatever the player wants to do, and what I want to do is not use any weapons at all! Only shields, I'm all about parrying the enemy, I tend to do that more than flurry rushing! I hope you enjoy this shield-only playthrough of Tears of the Kingdom!

3:40 just so you know, thats called a panic moon, basically, the game is having some problems and in a last ditch effort to save itself, it preforms a panic moon to try to literally turn hyrule off and on again to reset the problem out of existence.
An easy way to force a panic blood moon is to go to a cave with as many breakable rocks as possible climb a wall and jump off for bullet time with a multyshot bow and then shoot as many opals as possible if you shoot enough opals it will lag the game enough to trigger a panic blood moon and if you save before doing this and reload the save before touching the ground after shooting the opals you don't even use the opals and a panic blood moon still occurs

On all three of my challenge runs I've gotten a panic blood moon as the first blood moon each time midday. I just expect it now.

when he got the random blood moon it was a panic blood moon, it has happened to me about five minutes after a blood moon
Got to get that durability up on the hylian shield. Can you imagine having a shield with only 800 durability instead of 805~810 durability? The +25 from fusing just isn't enough!

Hey Cdotkom, I just found a discovery of the Master Sword (Fused with an item)
1. Fuse something to the Master Sword
2. Find a puddle of water / A water stream
3. Unsheathe the Master Sword and make sure it is under the water
4. You'll notice the fused item does not look like the Master Sword's blade color and will instead look like it's own color
That's what I found out, Cdotkom if you wan't to you can test it out.

I didn’t realize you were able to shoot colgera so I was just diving through colgera like you were
I’ve had a lot of trouble with the mineral section where you have to put it on a rail. I ended up just recalling it up.

For the water temple, in the part where you have to time a bow or something extremely well instead of doing something rational like a flame emitter I decided to use the *MASTER SWORD* beam attacks… because I somehow had it before the third temple
I'm so used to him shouting CAN YOU PARRY THAT EPISODE 9 MILLION that it's weird to hear his normal voice
At least he was protected.

Oh wow literally just yesterday I wanted to do some kind of a challenge run in ToTK, and I decided on not being able to use any weapons (I don’t count shields as a weapon), and I haven’t watched the video yet cause I don’t know I just kinda feel like it would be cheating, but for me I did allow throwing items and stuff as well, but I haven’t progressed much, I just got to the gorons, but I think I’m going to pick up the hylian shield first…
i watched this after dying to octorock after the whole depths war, but i didnt do lanayru or the dessert, becasue bow, and in the beggining , zeldas torch for keese, but i did have to use a sword for vines, then i broke it
