"Oh no, she's brain damaged!" I have to admit, that line cracked me up. It makes this scene a lot better compared to the Japanese dub. I usually watch subs, but the Love Live dubs are actually okay, well, at least for Love Live Sunshine anyway. The u's girls had pretty painful English voices in my opinion.

I admit I like the English voices. They did wonderfully, given time you get adjusted to hearing it and not be judgmental. If you prefer the Japanese more, that's alright, but don't be too rude about those liking the English dub and condemning it just because they speak in English. It's a matter of preference, not which is superior just because there are those wanting to this pure Japanese experience.
I watch the dub and it isn't as bad as how some people make it sound to be. Chika's voice is actually fit her a lots. The same goes with ruby, and riko.
I gotta say about Morgan Berry as Yoshiko is truly impressive. She's a fan of Yoshiko to which she got to play. The dub can have clever things the original doesn't have, such as the "she's brain damaged!" line; I think that's clever and creative in my view.

I just love the cuteness from Yoh/You going "Whoa, she's gorgeous." about Hanamaru before she falls over realizing Chika ran over to her and Ruby. :D It was great, along with Yoh's little cry as she falls over.
Dubbed and directed by different people. (Sunshine's dub was done by Caitlin Glass who played Maki in the original.) The original dub was probably centered around accuracy to the original seiyuu voices, though admittedly it didn't use the full strength and range of the voice actresses featured (the dub cast of the first season is incredible, but the performance was on the divisive end.) Despite also being a bit divisive the Sunshine!! dub is on the flip side as it's clearly more centered around the character's personalities and how well the voice actresses fit a typecast, there are lower profile voice actresses, but it's clear that they really get into the spirit of their characters.
Kinda agree that Sunshine's Dub is a marked improvement over the original. Don't get me wrong SIP's dub is cool. *aren't you going to admit that CV carries everything*

I came here because of Megan Shipman that plays the voice of Hanamaru. By the ways, Megan Shipman plays the voice of Yuzu from Citrus. Since I'm waiting for the English dubbed version of Citrus to come out every Friday(in my Asia country Singapore), I'm gonna start watching the English dubbed version of Love Live Sunshine soon after I recently finished watching Love Live!
