  • A pilot program in Seattle Public Schools changes how students see themselves and each other. 'Adapted Physical Education' is a P.E. program in six schools district-wide that partners students in special education with students in general education. KING 5's Kaci Aitchison has more.

    What a great program that considers everyone's skill level and helps them progress.
    I hope schools get to have this and things like zumba, ballet, yoga, tai chi, or instruction on proper form for running - wouldn't that be awesome!
    Having team sports is important, but some kids have never been taught how to play or are no good at it. Then PE class isn't very active because the kiddos aren't able to join very well.
    This program seems wonderful in that the kids are also getting a positive association with physical activity. 💚 Thanks for this report!

    This is what we need for people with all disability I see all these companies for personal training and I never seen them know how to train people with disability
