@@tino_drums666 Amazing work plus I appreciate when people tell what has been done to the track in the mix. It doesn't take anything away from a performance like this, just clears some things out. Great song choice. #nofilter
Thank you very much ! I always try to give the drummer and the song justice as much as I can by learning everything as close to the original as possible. It also gives me the benefit of really digging into the drummers style and touch, which I find really educating and fascinating. Cheers ! :)
@@tino_drums666 I had the chance to see them live in nepal few years ago, was backstage with my friends from Nervecell, check my channel for that video.
I am a Death Metal guitarist of 30 years now. You did a good job. It is not that difficult to play on guitar if your right hand is fast enough. Congratulations and well done on a job well done. Loving the sweat around you ankle - you must have been playing for days to nail it - which you did as that would stand up on a live performance with me.
Wow thank you so much ! A comment from an experienced player like yourself really warms my heart. :) And yes, I did quite a lot of takes on that day and the preperation took probably 2 weeks or so. It's one thing to play this song just barely making it than actually making it groove and "breathe". Thank you for commenting ! If you want to hear more of my playing, be sure to check out my own band called Vanguardian. All the best the to you sir ! :)
@@tino_drums666 My drummer says - change shoes to barefoot ones and no socks. Take off your shirt; straight face. Lose weight and have a lot more confidence in your ability. Me I think that is a bit harsh and I do get what he is saying though. Keep going... we cannot disclose - it is just how we work.
@@ostravia Yea I totally get what your drummer is saying. The great thing about music is that everyone can figure out their own way of doing what they love. So cool that you guys are on tour. Hopefully we get to tour Europe and the US at some point. Much love from Finland ! Cheers guys ! :)
Haha thank you so much man. Great to hear you liked the mix. Looking back at it now, I'm not sure if the snare should be as up front in the mix, but it is what it is haha..
Isot kiitokset Samuli ! Jos teikäläistä kiinnostelee enempikin meikän setit niin oma bändini Vanguardian on julkaissut kevän mittaan yhden uuden singlen ja lisää on tulossa lähiviikkoina. Kaikkea hyvää ! :)
Awesome dude, excellent job ! You nailed it 🤘🏻 I did a guitar cover of this song but UA-cam blocked my video... Copyrights... How do you for not be blocked ? Thanks
French Thrasher That’s cool man ! This song is a pain in the ass for guitar as well in my opinion. (I also play a little bit of guitar haha) But yea it is a shame that your cover was blocked. I don’t know how come this is not blocked. Might be because of my lack of views maybe.. 🤔
@@frenchthrasher i'm kinda late but i've heard changing the pitch of the song helps a little bit . Also try to increase your guitar sound over the song
Well I think the truth is not really all that black and white. Triggers certainly make it easier in a live situation for the band and the audience to hear the kick drum, but in a studio I always prefer natural sound for all drums. :)
Sick !
Kévin Paradis Wow ! Now this is overwhelming coming from the master himself. Thank you very much ! :)
Very solid! Especially considering that you seem to not use a trigger for your bass drum!
Wanja [Nechtan] Gröger Thank you so much Wanja ! No I did not. My friend mixed this and added a slight sample to it. :)

Footwork is INSANE! Speed and power bro. So damn tight and the kit sounds killer. F'n phenomenal!

fucking excellent O.O
Snare drum sounds like it's hooked up to a timpani foot pedal. Blasting sounds quite musical!
No triggers are better more authentic feel that’s how drums are to suppose to be like real drumming needs no technology stuff involved lol
