Brogdan was a smoke screen. Smart is a redundant player with no jumpshot or dynamic abilities about him. Being a defense guard in a league where good defense isn’t enough for dynamic guards of this league. We need that dynamic guard here. It was time to move on.

A good GM needs to make hard decisions. Good on Brad to not let relationships affect his decision making. Adding KP is an upgrade than what we had last season. They now have tools to overcome zone defense. KP can shoot from anywhere. Can’t wait to see more post up game next season. Marcus defensively was not the same after injuring his ankle. I’m actually glad he won’t be on this team so we don’t have to see him turn the ball over and make questionable shots at end of games.

Even if Smart was slowing down, and was compared to most NBA stars an offensive liability, he had the intangibles that don't show up on the stat sheet. Yes, he is almost 30. But remember how he called out the two stars on the team and then things started clicking? I'm sorry, but this is a very tough trade to chew. Make Cuts to the rim to put the ball in the basket, get out in Transition and be Tenacious on the Boards… It’s Obvious The Celtics had to Draft a Player the could immediately step in and match The Dawg Energy of Mahcus Smaht so it was only {Walsh} that even came close and my opinion he’s maybe a lot better with the Height, Rebounds, Blocking, Cutting, PutBacks, and a good form on his perimeter shot.. I feel like buddy will be an UpGrade from Mahcus and that makes the lose of Smaht stings a lot less whenever I think of the whole Trade decision 😕
