I have the Twisted Band Sampler but all in cross stitch because I don't enjoy doing specialty stitches and I also have Twisted Rainbow Sampler also in just cross stitch. I love seeing all of your patterns and your progress.
Holding up your September cats and hearts project with Smokey in the background really shows that the color you picked to stitch the cats in really does match. Love it!
I love your finish; the letters do look good on it. It was good to see Smoky, so sweet and has a beautiful coat. I'm glad that you got back home, safely. Have a great week and see you soon.
Hi Sarah! I finally had decent internet to watch your video tonight because I’m back in Saint George. Allison lives in a dead zone when it comes to cell coverage, it’s hard enough to text much less watch a video! I’m still working monogamously, Castle Homecoming and The Anniversary are all I worked on since I’ve been gone, except for our Childhood Friends start with Ruthann last Saturday. I think that “Finishing Feeling” has hit me too! Congrats on another finish with “Endor”. Let’s see how many more we can check off our list before the New Year. Looking forward to stitching on Hibiscus Fairy this week! 🥰💕
Hi Sarah! So glad you were able to visit with Colette! She mentioned your visit at our retreat. Beautiful stitching as always! Keeping you and your family in my prayers.❤🙏
Congratulations on your finish on visit endor!!! Still work to give it to your mom around what would have been 50th anniversary, that will mean so much to her!
I am glad to hear all went well with the Memorial for your Dad. I am stitching through a thunder storm in Key West, where I am on holiday - rather like the weather we have at home in the UK. At least I have a diversion 😮. Love the stitching 😊
Hi Sarah I always love the progress you make on your family pieces and congrates on finishing Endor for your older son. It's beautiful. I am working on another old WIP called Honey bear by Dimensions and just have backstitching to do and that will be done as well. I am still working on my WIP's that I started this year and enjoy working on them. My prayers are with you always for you and your family. Loved seeing Smokey such a cutie. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Endor looks beautiful Sarah. The sampler would be wonderful for your mom. Hope she’s doing well. Glad you got to see Colette. I love seeing her at Stitch Con. ❤️🌺🌷💕
Congratulations on the finish of Visit Endor! It is a very nice piece, and I see no problem with the letters (but of course I only see it though the camera). You are going to have a flurry of finishes in the next several weeks, I can tell! Thanks for the video, I always look forward to it. (and I am almost finished with your very impressive WIP parade video).
I think the idea for a marriage sampler for your mom is a good one. My parents made it to 47, also. Maybe next year you could start with some of those pieces that you haven't gotten around to in 2 years? Visit Endor looks great! Now, if I could only finish my Yellowstone piece I would be happy.
I love the look of the Twisted Band Sampler! I may have to check that out. Can't wait to see how Lollipop turns out. It's a beautiful piece. Stargazer is gorgeous! 🐝Linda
Hi Sarah Congratulations on your Finish. It is so pretty. I love this. Love all of your WIPS - Beautiful Stitching. Buttercup - my Kitty - says Hi to Smokey. Keeping you in my Prayers Sarah and your Mom and Sister. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏🧵🪡🧵❤️
Hi Sarah. I love when Smokey makes an appearance. We have a pretty grey cat at the shelter. We named her Ashling. I'm also stitching Cats and Hearts September. Speaking about scissors, I know a lot. I retired from TSA. Thank you for sharing your projects.
Congratulations on Visit Endor it looks really good. I think you should continue to work on the sampler for your Mum - it will still be a very special day for her. Remember to give yourself time to grieve. Take care and Happy Stitching ❤❤
WooHoo! Visit Endor is completed!! I've been peeking in on you for years and its always been there. LOL. Terrific! Yes, stick with the plan and gift it in June.
Sarah could you please show your back on bear time stories? I know you do extreme cross country, and I would also like to see the back. It was also nice that Smokey choose to spend time with you and us! Congratulations on finishing visit Endor!
Sarah, you just reminded me of something with your "school-type" scissors . I used to buy a half dozen pairs of scissors everytime they had the back to school supplies thing. I had a pair of those scissors in every project. I am a professional seamstress (retired) and always was very particular about my scissors. (I sharpie mark scissors "craft" if I am using for cutting paper & crafts). Those little scissors are just fine for cutting threads. I always know an "old" project as it has its own pair of scissors in it & its own highlighter. I don't use highlighters anymore (I use colored pencils). Those scissors NEVER cost me more than 50 cents at the time, they might be more now, tho. But yes, you don't have to spend a fortune on scissors when you cross stitch (or needlepoint, as I do). Thanks for the update (blessings to you & your family).
I included an explanation of my washing and blocking method in the video where I FFOed Knitting Woman a couple of years ago: ua-cam.com/video/mP7-wGpz45o/v-deo.html You can find it around the 10 minute mark. I'll try to make a stand alone video of it when I FFO Visit Endor, since I know that could be helpful. :)
Hi Sarah, My sympathies on your father's passing. Visit Endor is fantastic. I can't wait to see the FFO. May I recommend the double dipped denim fabric for your newest cat pattern? Thoughts and prayers to you.
Oh you're right - that Stargazer fabric would work well for the cat pattern! I don't really enjoy dying fabric though, so I just bought a piece this time. It helped that I had a birthday gift card to spend! :)
I put it in a casserole dish with warm water and Dawn dishsoap (that helps cut the hand oils) and let it soak for a bit. Then I rinse it with lukewarm water until no more soap remains and pat it dry with a clean towel. If needed, I'll then pin it while damp to my cardboard cutting board, stretching it as needed to square it up again. As it air dries over the next day or two, it will dry into that squared up position, so when I take the pins out it's ready to frame!
I love the idea of the Beach Comber piece. What a special tribute to them. Endor looks amazing! Congrats on the finish!
Hi Sarah. Congratulations on your finish of visit Endor! It’s so nice that you were able to stitch with Collette in person. Happy Stitching!

I am very much looking forward to Hibiscus Fairy!! How are your monogamous projects going - did you make nice progress?
@@StitchinMommy not as much as I would have liked but more than I expected. 😁 You know how it is when you are visiting relatives!
Beautiful finish

Very true!
Visit Endor looks fantastic. Once again, I am so sorry for your lost. Take care.
My mom lost my dad before their 50th anniversary too. Trust me she’ll appreciate it still for a 50th.
Thanks!
The words “Endor” turned out great! Ok we know it’s in your closet. So if you forget we got you covered!!! 💛🪡💛
Thanks!
Endor looks great, Congratulations. Always time well spent watching your videos. Bonus today...Smokey.
It's nice to see Endor finished. It's nice. I don't remember, have you done a video on how you block your fabric?
I included an explanation of my washing and blocking method in the video where I FFOed Knitting Woman a couple of years ago: ua-cam.com/video/mP7-wGpz45o/v-deo.html You can find it around the 10 minute mark.
