Faith No More are well worth a dive into, you could pick 5 different songs and get a different genre each time. Mike Patton is an awesome vocalist and entertaining to watch live with his stage antics. Midlife Crisis, Epic, Just A Man, Cuckoo For Caca and Evidence will give you a sample of the band's range.
I love Zombie Eaters and their version of Warpigs (preferably with Jim on guitar). And the lyrics in The gentle art of making enemies... I could go on... :P
Mike Patton has the widest vocal range in popular music. If I recall correctly it's 6 Octaves and 1/2 Notes. Check out the short 20 min in studio performance they did around 8 or 9 years ago for BBC Radio 1 and their 2009 Download Festival gig
Never has, never will get old - Absolute genius right there. (With Mike Patton that’s Literal and figurative.) Great reaction and the comment section probably has some great follow ups to this, hopefully you’ll give them and listen for your sake and ours! Stay smiling!
Mike Patton has his own label, is in many bands in each band you here every instrument even live, keep checking out him ,ipecac Records and Faith No More
@It's Your Girl The song: Zombie Eater's by Faith No More. That's your next Faith No More experience, or hearing Mike Patton live. Life changing. Yep. He's that good.
lol i love watching reactors discover the Faith No More/Mike Patton rabbit hole. you have no idea what you’re in for. FNM tips: if you’re curious you can find them with Courtney Love on vocals back in like 83/84. The recordings are for local TV so they’re decent. Then from the Chuck Moseley (RIP) era I strongly recommend Death March, Pills for Breakfast, and Anne’s Song although their big hit was We Care A Lot. Patton (the guy you saw) is a whole other beast. Their biggest hit is Epic which you can find 1K live versions of on here. But if you’re looking for some real killer live songs there’s Caffeine from MTV Spring Break 92, and I highly recommend about any version of Cone of Shame or Ugly in the Morning. By then you’ll be looking at Mr Bungle at the Bizarre Festival 1997 and there’ll be no turning back.
All the parts have their own space? Mike (Patton - vocalist) is giving it some energy here but you'd never guess he's one of the very best vocalists ever from this performance... nowhere near his usual form
@@thecoops2329 I beg to differ. Check out the FIRST TFI Friday performance of this song from May 1997. This is from the December 1997 show and I think he had a cold, hence the scratchy voice. The May 1997 performance is absolutely crushing. It was the first version I heard. When I heard the album version I was disappointed.
I almost missed this. I love this song! You really should check out one of the vocal compilations of Mike Patton. His versatility and vocal techniques and abilities are off the charts! (This performance is one of the worst I've seen by him, also his energy is always great) Greetings from Germany
I'm finding this two years after originally published. I've loved this band for 30 years give or take? A few things. One, not a lot of reactions or analysis from you, but whatever. Two, this was, for FNM, a solid but not amazing live performance of the song. Whats worse is that you used a picture of them playing at the Canne Film festival, and that WAS a fantastic performance of Ashes to Ashes from them. So I find that to be a curious choice at best.
Appreciate there is an unlimited number if sings for to to check out, but if you get the time I'd strongly recommend a couple live FNM performances to better understand Pattons vocal chops, first ones a Burt Bacharach cover, seconds a combination of 3 songs first 2 of which are VERY heavy, so strap yo'self in😬
I've given up half way through. I understand you have to pause for copyright issues, but you've done it way too much, to the point where you have totally distorted the flow and feel of the song.
Mike Patton one of the best vocalists.
One of ONE OF. No THE BEST
Este sujeto canta y lo hace muy bien ..., de los mejores frontman que he visto.
The most gifted front man of all time.
Undoubtedly
Debatable but, definitely in the top echelon.
The album for this song is so good! (Called:Album Of The Year) Faith No More has a nice rabbit hole to fall into! Awesome reaction!
Yep, and when you fall into it, you will constantly argue with yourself about what their best album is.
FNM are so close to flawless it's amazing.
Like most of fnm albums you can listen from the start to the end without having to skip a single song.

Malpractice is so underrated, and Jizzlobber too def one of the darkest heaviest songs FNM has produced.
Brazil loves Faith No More and Mike Patton! 🇧🇷🤘

Gotta say it's a mild performance from Mike
Uma bela canção do Faith No More...i love FNM
This song is an anthem-one of FNM's best
If you like his energy in this show check out his 93 shows 110 percent on stage and his vocals absolutely awesome. Best frontman of all time.
Mike Payton can hit 6 octaves. Enough said.

My favorit song
Should have been seeing them live next week just gutted
That's hilarious how his mic broke and he went to take the one from keyboard to finish the song
Easily my favorite Super Group.
Ooft! The audience would be buzzing after that.
great video, reaction, and merry xmas to all 🌞🕊️

Yeah, the studio version is better.
He never seems to be able to nail this one live for some reason 🤷🏻
This is a close as I think he's managed to get to it.

@@thecoops2329 It's way too deep for him in the verses
You should check out Mike's other band Tomahawk God hates a coward and flashback live 😁

Faith..M.Patton was Always the OG..Triple Threat/Bad Ass Vocals/The Look and Writing😎🤘

THE BEST
Thats very very different. That is FNM on a single album.
Great song.
For some reason this song the background instrumentation makes me think of Zepplin Kashmir.
Great reaction.

React to every song From Angel Dust. It’s their best.

Faith no more é o pai do nu metal
If it's energy you want check out FNM playing From Out of Nowhere live at Brixton Academy 1990, you won't be disappointed 😊
Please react to the Great voice of Mike Patton on the Next Song:
(Caffeine Live - Faith No More)
Now go back over, try 'Epic' and the original singer with 'we care alot'

The video from your thumbnail was a better performance, wish you had done that one!
Every album is completely different, every album is genius. Mike Patton is amazing. Pity this recording was a bit crap.
Liston, stop talking
I've given up half way through. I understand you have to pause for copyright issues, but you've done it way too much, to the point where you have totally distorted the flow and feel of the song.
The book was better.
Insoportable
Crud reaction. Absolutely noone wants to see you pause the vid every 2 secs to give a pointless view. Let it play longer.
