This was truly my most favorite of the Casper Cartoons. This is the THE cartoon that encasulates the true meaning of childhood inocence. How did we become a world of mystery, wonder and fun for children of all ages to a dark, fearful, and humorless society in such a short amount of time? To be old enough to remember when time moved slowly enough to appreciate these fantastic cartoons has become both a blessing and a curse. I don't think we'll ever see an age like this again.

This cartoon was used in the Futurama episode "Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch", it took the production crew 40 hours to find something to fit Zap Brannigan's line "They jump right out of their pants!"
Because Sid Raymond was the voice of the wolf {often known as "Wolfie" in other Paramount cartoons}, 'Technus', and used his impression of Bert Lahr for that voice [best known as the "Cowardly Lion", on Broadway, radio and screen appearances, Lahr often puncutated his reactions with "Gnong, gnong, gnong!!"].
Which does connect to something the 1996 TV show later established that the original Casper cartoons and the legacy were based on the real life Casper in the movie's in-universe.
Yeah so do I and I’ll tell you this Casper was wishing that people wouldn’t be scared of him and one day his wish came true! In a certain cartoon of Casper the friendly ghost he saved a baby’s life from a burning building and the baby’s mom thanked him and kissed him on the head afterwards and from that time on people were not scared of Casper the friendly ghost!
Well,at any rate,he is a ghost. Furthermore,I know everyone's screams of "A ghost!" are supposed to be funny and it's only a cartoon,but frankly,I never found that funny at all,not when the cartoon characters didn't get to know Casper and realize that, unlike most ghosts,he means no harm at all.

There is a place called Kiddie Land it is inside the Ralph Mitchell Zoo in the historic town of Independence, Kansas. Statues of many different Mother Goose characters stand all around. If you wish to have a magical time, just remember your Mother Goose Rhymes. ;-)
