Great photo of you guys. Awesome video!
Thank you very much. Glad to hear you liked the video!
Awesome video i bet at night your layout really hits it out of the park with every thing lit up
Those Menards buildings in particular illuminate the entire layout and room at night when the room lights are off. Thank you!
Looks great 👍 and I am sure your Dad watches you while you enjoy your layout 😊 I have acquired a few Menards buildings myself..
Appreciate the kind words, friend. Glad to hear you have some Menards building in your collection as well!
Cool train station! And nice run session!
Much appreciated! Yes, I love the Allentown Station. Goes great with the Strasburg Station.... now just need the New Hope station.... stay tuned!
Very nice. I like the Menard's stuff, very well made and decent detailing. I like to keep everything pristine, just like I would have when I was a kid, building my first layout, so your layout is the way I like mine to look, building-wise. I have a couple of the MTH operating buildings, but their base is way too thick and you can't cut them down without wrecking the operating mechanism. I have to find a way to incorporate them into my new layout, without making them look higher than the streets. Either way, an excellent review.
Thanks so much! I don't mess with any of the buildings or trains, customizing or weathering. Keep them all original and I also hold onto all the boxes and sometimes outer packaging! I try to keep everything they way it was brand new from the manufacturer. Regarding your MTH buildings with the thick bases, you could down some foam boards. Good for insulation and carving for scenery.... you can bury those foundations in the foam layer, and have everything else on top and level.
Cool station!
Thank you very much!
I just started buying Menard's buildings for my Brio layouts!
I used to have a wooden train and track set when I was very young. I remember it being stored in a drawer when I was growing up, but now have no idea what happened to it. I wish I still had it! But yeah, Menards buildings are neat. Enjoy them!
Cool looking station.
Your audio is something else though.
Might wanna check that out.
Thank you. The camera I have can be challenging on the audio... makes editing a pain. Will have to upgrade it someday.
Nice. Layout. But. Would. Like. To see. Back. Of. Station.
Thank you and glad to hear you like the layout! If you go to the 9 minute mark in the video you can see a close-up on the back of the station and all lit up.
