The C source code in the background @1:03 seems to be from the Morris worm, the first worm that was distributed via Internet. That's on purpose, right @Sonicware? To support the glitch character of this synth I guess. *chef's kiss* Anyhow, what a superb sounding glitch machine in this perfect form factor. ❤
@@blakecasimir the SmplTrek has already had some pretty massive firmware updates. I don't know why this guy is saying "fix" the sequencer, because it works just fine
No, I did not mean that it hadn't been updated. (Well, the last update was in October '23.) Also, the sequencer is not broken. What I meant was that, unlike other Sonicware devices, the sequencer on SmplTrek functions differently, making the process less straightforward and immediate. I won't get into manuals here, but anyone who owns both Livens (or even Lofi XT) and SmplTrek understands what I'm talking about. Several UA-camrs have also mentioned it. Other people have commented on it as well.
I was hoping your next step will be ultimate groovebox with sampler and synth in one. ((( Plz update lofi12xt. Add proper trig conditions, more mod dest, more insert fx, record inputs to tape and more more more
Sounds neat. Im pretty over drum machines with only stereo outputs tho. Unless theres a generous amount of simultaneous, per-part, onboard eq and compression. Keep it up tho. I really dig the majority of what u guys come up with.
I preordered like 4 seconds into this video… haven’t owned anything of theirs yet but here we goooo…. I expect it’ll have per step conditions, hope I’m not wrong
@@kdmn5570 Most synth customers are non-professional hobbyists who want to create "that sound" (whatever it may be), and catering to them is a good business model. I'll be in the VIP section, of course.
Just ordered this as soon as I listened to the demo and think it sounds amazing. Thanks sonic warriors. So vibrant!
Why do I love this immediately?
Because it's awesome. I don't need but dam I want it
Sounds you can vibe to in the 4th dimension
God if I only had talent
Just create your own genre ! 🤘
You may not have talent, but you ARE smart enough to know you don't. And I think that's a valuable talent in itself!
Cheers
I thought the same thing, listening to this great demo. lol
I have tons of gear and little talent... I'm still trying. 🤷♂️
Wow so interesting!😮
Thank you so much for your outstanding work Sonicware!
Sounds and looks incredible Sonicware!! 🙌🐀
sounds amazing.... Love it

Like what, what is happening?!? This real? Sounds crazy!
Velocity sensitive pads! I'm so in 🎉
I want this and the Mega Synthesis!
This brings me joy ❤
I dont use the word often: Epic
I love this company haha
Yup. Indeed.
It's like SonicWare intercepted my email to ASM and built a digital wavetable drum machine before I even got an answer. 🤣🤣🤣
oh... i was saving
This looks nice and all, but please update the SmplTrek!
Fix the sequencer in the first place.
Concerning. Not encouraging for prospective new customers. What are the issues? Have Sonicware ever issued ANY product updates?

i was hoping there would be a NEO-HYPERACTIVE drum synthesizer revealed to begin 2025....SONIC WARE heard the call!
It's The One!!
Waiting for the new Electribe
Why you're doing that to me😂

Dope!
Can the sequencer be used also for external gear?
Yes, of course!
Just snagged one ! 🤘🤘

@@jamesthelemonademaker yes, If not I have a Tr O9 so the two will go well.
Saw that there's a screenshot on the website that shows what looks to be 9x9 8x8 and 6x6 kits. Already scooped one 🤘
@@jamesthelemonademaker Lovely, only a month to wait ✌
et tu wallet?
This demo makes me want to buy it, not.
🤘🤘🤘🤘❤️
Now we just need an Industrial /EBM inspired synth !!! 🤞🤞
Distortion pedal
having genre dedicated synths is just pathetic and shows how clueless some people are
@kdmn5570 instant and shallow gratification. Suits the times
