Nice video! Clear and straight to the point, and not all the needless chatter and overkill information that is on most how-to videos. I don't subscribe to a lot of channels, but I did to yours because of this! Thank you!
Thank you! This was helpful. With the brushes, I had the hardest time. getting them back in. Every other video acted like it was so easy. I’ve had the rumba before. it’s never been like that.
Hi Dad! Thank you for the great information on how to clean my J8 Roomba self cleaning vacuum that I purchased from Costco. I’ve been watching your other videos for descaling my Keurig Elite coffee maker for a year or two and I was excited to see this tutorial on how to service my Roomba. Your videos are awesome and are easy to follow. I hope you will always keep your videos posted for future reference. Thanks for all you do! One question, I will soon be needing more replacement parts. Amazon carries many generic replacements that are much cheaper than the Roomba parts. Are they safe to use?
Great video - thanks! Works for my j5+ as well. I found a cheaper kit on Amazon with 8 filters, 8 bags, 8 edge brushes and two sets of rollers for $29.99. Manufacturer is Katerelis. Cheers.
I think it's crazy people swapping for new HEPA after a few months. Clean them suckers. Hoover or compressed air can to clean them out. Good for another while
something's gone wrong with my J7 in the last few months. It's officially 3 years old and it seems to be having a harder time navigating than it did when it was new. This morning it just sat in one spot with the vacuum running without moving. Other times it will dance around in front of its docking station without finding it all. Moreoever, it will just get lost in a room it's been in a thousand times before. I've tried cleaning the camera lens and its other sensors. I've even had he re-learn the floor plan but it just seems like it's gone senile and giving up. What can i do?
Where do I find those matching multi purpose roller brushes? These are the design I have on my i7, but when I order new brushes from irobot then send me brushes that do not fit and cause error2.
I hate my J7+ Worst iRobot vacuum I have ever owned. I have cat hair and hardwood floors and it can't clean those without constant issues. I've cleaned the rollers and it constantly asks for them to be cleaned. Worse, it just blows the cat hair up into the air. The caster wheel just gets clogged up and why this thing can't untangle cat hair baffles me. Every week I have to unravel pet hair from the ends of the brushes. Junk junk junk.
I have the J7+ as well I’ve had multiple Roombas before. This is the first time. I feel as if I paid too much for what I got. I have the same flooring you are describing, including the cat.
I have a Jack (parsons) Russel Terrier and OMGoodness, never knew dogs shredded so much -- might as well be a cat LOL, but I'm with you! got the j7+bjust because of it and I have to clean the rollers and the side sweep every. single. time. or it just wont do any good. Wow. this may be my first -- and last roomba!

Same here! Awesome video
Thank you! I was having trouble putting my roller brushes back in and watching your video allowed me to be successful! It is not self evident.
Glad it helped!
Same, I had them flipped the other way.

You're so welcome!
This is the best video I have found for maintenance procedures. I followed right along with you and it was a breeze. Thank you so much.
Glad it helped
Appreciate that you took the time for your video tutorial. Very informative. Many thanks!

Do you find these parts are as effective as OEM?
Thank you! Super helpful.

Thank you. GREAT Help!!!
You're welcome!
Thank you for this video. The instructions that came with the vacuum were not very clear.
You're welcome!
There's another filter that you missed out. It's attached to the top of the removable dust box. Pls do give some feedback on that one.

Thank you
So we do need to replace everything every month? Or just replace what looked worn out, broken or needed?
Just need to replace whatever it gives you a message to replace in the app. Not every month

My vacuum is not returning to the base. What to do to correct this problem?
Hi everyone
What is cleaning passes mean in iRobot j7+
What’s the difference between one clean passes vs two clean passes
how many times it goes over the same spot
You completely missed the inside of the brushes. You can unscrew the grey bits of the brushes. Loads of debris gets stuck in there

I have two cats and a J7+, works like a charm

Our J7+ works great - 2 cats, big house. Should be under warranty - contact company.
Sounds like @wherenerdyiscool is the problem. I have no issues with my machine either.
Those filters don't fit that robot.
